Just let them know you are returning to Nigeria with the baby and you are only there to give birth. They will leave you alone.

I just flew them to Chicago midway for $89 to and $89 back.... like I said cheap and cheerful with 2 bags free and you get your bags unlike Spirit... sad

Winchcraft Spirit!!! They will be the lowest price but you will pay for arm rest!!! Lolz, There was a contest they did last year, "Spirit of hate contest" asking you to say what you hate most about them.
After over 8000 responses, they clapped back!
"You should be happy we asked you to pay for only what you need on a flight..."

Well, which made sense actually angry grin

Check Missouri Baptist medical centre cos their hospital charge is 2500 for VD and there's a Dr that charges 800$ there, additional cost is pediatricians fee which I dunno, but that same Dr collects test done from Nigeria if it's not hand written...accommodation is what I'm not sure of, Google apartments close to that zip code and see how far, but cost of living in Missouri is low

Accomodation in St Louis is 243/week wt tax, could be slightly more expensive depending on the extended stay apartment u choose, they are quite many and some are close to each other. Vaginal delivery hosp bill ...2600, epidural--800, dr's bill--800 for delivery, 150 first visit,100 subsequent visits (Not all dr's charge this amount, some are in the 2,200 t0 3k range for self pay). They would still do some tests even if you brought every from Naija, and depending on the doc u may hv to do another ultrasound (200-300)...other tests to be done are GBS, CBC, and any other one the dr deems fit for your case.

Hi all,
I have someone who filled a different DS 160 application form and he's trying to change the confirmation number on his profile used for booking appointment. He said he hasn't been able to do it, pls the gurus in the house, how can one go about it?
The appointment is on monday, the previous form he submitted wasn't properly filled.
thanks.

You will have to send a mail to support-nigeria@ustraveldocs.com, containing your request, the new DS 160 confirmation page and also the data page of the individual nigerian passport. Ensure you correct this before going for the appointment, or you could reschedule your appointment forward while trying to get this done. I hope this helps.

Yes I will. Are the apartments inclusive of utility bills? If yes, it'll make a lot of sense.

Thanks ozycy! Its a private arrangement. Right now its not available because my friend will be taking over when i leave. yes it is less than 15mins to walmart, ross and many other stores. My doc charged 1600. Baby sykes( dr zimmerman) For transportation, i used yellow cab for most of my trips cos the hospital and docs office were also about 15mins from the house. The environment was and is very safe.
. I sent you a pm, pls respond.

Thats how they harrass people, they did same to me. What u can do to let them leave you alone is to explain the implication to them if you accept it. I told them the embassy ll never grant me visa or entry into the US ever again if i accept it cos they warned me specifically about it when i went to apply for my visa and also at the POE. Though, they were not able to comprehend why the people at the embassy would say that,i simply told them to mention it to Obama on our behalf that we shouldnt be threatened no more and then we can start accepting their offer. Na so dem leave me alone oo

Hi moms to be, this is my first post on nairaland as i am also a first timer. I didnt know one could write a letter to the embassy for change of intent of travel plans. I had my visa interview in oct 2014 n was asked by the v.o my intent of travel.told vo for vacation.she asked if i was planning on giving birth , i said if it comes. The vo then said if i was,i shouldnt apply for memedicaidr any govt aid.i said sure That i would be responsible For any payment then.she gives me a 2yrs visa.At poe in houston in jan, the immigration officers asked my duration of stay, hubby says 3months..n he gave me 6months without asking if i was for delivery blah blah....my question is will this affect me when im coming back to the usa or when i want to apply for another visa cos im like if i knew about the letter stuff i would have notified the embassy prior travel.I would greatly appreciate responses.

Praise God with me my people. My daughter's delivery was very successful! Dr. La is a great doctor and the hospital staff were superb. It is a world of difference between the birth of my first at Park Plaza Hospital and this experience. When you walk into WHMC you would think it was a hotel, beautiful.

I dealt with two ladies on accommodation issue, though I ended up not using either because I am renting/leasing. But the two Soul Care and Pampered Care I would say are kind and very serious minded. The locations and setting they had did not work for me.

I also came here to ask for a car rental service. Again, I ended up not renting a car. Someone was recommended to me. He basically drove me around to where ever I needed to go at an agreed cost which was cheaper than Uber and of course the Yellow Cab. I would use him if I have to go somewhere far and then use Uber for nearer journeys. I met a few Nigerians using the Uber service, one of them prayed for me and baby. Really interesting. There was one Uber driver that carried me from walmart. The guy simply opened his truck and started the journey. He did not even bother to help me load my shopping into his truck. You will meet all sorts! The variety is what interests me. I also met one Mohammed from Afghanistan. If I tell you I was not scared, I will be joking. I simply kept my cool till I got to my destination & just thanked my God! Lol.

I got a few discounts. For the Pathology paid like: $70; Hearing Test: $163 (half price); Surgical Assistant: $200. Just ask for a discount, you never know, they may have concessions.

Now in the process of getting baby's papers together. I have a question though. I have just called BA to add my daughter to my booking. My question is that I hope I will not have any problems with immigration and whether or not I got a return ticket for her. Please any mum that has returned to Nija via BA, did you have such an experience

Hello @weaseloo, Please can you give an insight into getting accommodation in Houston, im planning on having baby there and ive been looking around for apartments but haven't found one. Any advise or recommendations

Dear All, I am hoping someone will be willing to help me with a few concerns. I desire that my wife has our baby in the US and intend she applies for a visa that along with my daughter applies for a visa to within the next 2 wks. I already have a visa but i would like to attend the interview with them so i am thinking:
1. Should i make a joint application for them (i.e my daughter and wife)? If I do, will i be allowed to go in with them on the premise that i want to assist my wife in baby sitting the little girl considering my wife's state?

OR

2. Should I just make separate applications and then book them on same interview date. That way I get to go in with my daughter. But will it still be possible to attend the interview together as a family this way. Recall that I already have a visa, just intend to attend the interview with my family.

I had my son at Oakbend on Wednesday morning via section. Dr. Fagbohun was marvelous. Checked on us all through our stay in the hospital till we got discharged yesterday.

The nurses and their assistants were wonderful. Enjoyed the experience sha no cause to complain. My son was kept in the nursery while I recover. Yet to settle the other bills since their offices are not opened on weekends but will swing into action by Monday after picking up the birth certificate.

Wish others safe delivery.
