All those screaming high up to the heavens that GMB was a former military 'dictator' should remember that a former President, OBJ was a military ruler. Even the present Senate President was formerly in the military. Did they still display their military traits in a democratic setting? Let's think pragmatically here, no sentiments. Our present president could not address the major problem affecting Nigeria today. In my own opinion, it is CORRUPTION. It is corruption in its many forms (bribery, nepotism, fraud, embezzlement) that has adversely affected the economy of Nigeria. Now I'm not an advocate of GMB, but I believe if you can't tackle a problem, leave it to someone who can (that is if you have the interests of the country at heart). GEJ has tried his best, let him give someone else the opportunity to tackle the problems facing this country, and if that person can't, with 2019 by the corner we can always elect someone else.

Mr. Buhari said he was not ready to participate in the presidential debate with President Goodluck Jonathan, standing for re-election as the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party.

He argued that there is no basis for debate since the record of the PDP and Mr. Jonathan in government is public knowledge.

I see this as an arrogant statement.....in that case he could just have showed up to tell us what he has to offer as we haven't not forgotten incidence like this

Venting their anger and raising their temperatures because Buhari sees debate as waste of good campaign time now. They feel it's okay to ban card reader but want to make an optional debate compulsory. How do they even know that Jonathan will come out and debate? He is known to run and hide when there was such a debate in 2011.

GEJ a sonorous, monotonous dysarthric speaker prone to grammatical errors and gaffes. He is far from being an orator and with his abysmal and shameful records as president, any schoolboy can beat him flat in such a debate. But it's a waste of time for Buhari to engage in such optional trivialities of debates that have been shunned in the past by the same Jonathan.

Just grammar! Nothing more!

That was harsh though the hard truth. Everyone can see the performance of Goodluck Jonathan so what is there to debate?

A debate is not about GEJ , it is for GMB to come and explain why his approach will be better than the "woeful" approach of GEJ. why do people like standing logic on its head?

Asked if he was prepared to apologise for jailing journalists as military ruler, the Director General of Mr. Buhari’s campaign and Governor of River State, Rotimi Amaechi, prevented the former general from responding, saying “the general has said he could not change the past”

ones a soldier always a soldier. Abi no be Obasanjo ordered d killing of Niger deltans wen they were agitatin for their right. In d case of David mark, there is a quite different btwen a senate president and a Nigeria President. As a senate president, his power is limited to compare wit that of Jonathan. If u give David mark Nigerian President today, his actions will alwas show u that military runs in his blood.

The truth is that Buhari has nothing to offer Nigerians. If GeJ achievements are there for Nigerians to see, is Buhari's so-called "change" known to Nigerians?

Ohhh! Poor you. I guess the only thing you were thought in almagiri half education afternoon school is the use of fowl language and the use of a pen knife to defend your bigotry and tribalism.
As I rightly said and you quoted,
"Only in democracy you hear of debate or has anyone heard of a national debate BEFORE THE ASSUMPTION OF OFFICE IN MILITARY RULE"?.
Those last words, do they make meaning to you or are you that dull upstairs that you find it so hard to comprehend the meaning of the word "BEFORE"?
You are definitely a waste of time and resources. Arguing with you will need a lot of help to educate you 1st even through the basics and I don't have that time.
Am sure you are best @ plaguing underage girls. Say me hello to your 12 year old wife. grin grin grin
Good morning.

First of all, I will gladly accept to be called an almajiri (which simply means a pupil or scholar) than a poorly educated buffoon like yourself, who after many years of supposed schooling still doesn't know the difference between the words THOUGHT and TAUGHT - an obvious sign of someone still struggling and confused with pronouncing words starting with the letters TH.

Secondly, I challenge you to point to anywhere in my posts in this thread that portrayed any sign of bigotry or tribalism - as your lying self alleged.

Thirdly, I am absolutely shocked that you are yet to see anything wrong or feel shame for repeating that same silly statement of yours:
"Only in democracy you hear of debate or has anyone heard of a national debate before the assumption of a military rule?"
Yes, your words again; even as you dishonestly tried to do damage control in your immediate last post by modifying the statement with insertion of the words IN OFFICE in the latter of the part of the said statement; even after that you still failed to make amends to such tomfoolery.

If you are unable to understand the implication of what you wrote, pls ask someone to help you or better still, go back to your teachers for more coaching on the art of comprehension - meanwhile, pls, pls stop arguing like a headless chicken and thereby making more of a fool of yourself by trying to defend the indefensible.

Lastly, I would rather have a 12 yr old for a wife, at least I would have accorded her and her family some degree of respectability by taking her into the sanctuary of marriage; rather than engaging her in the wanton debauchery of adultery and rape as many of you and your ilk do - just take a stroll into the crime section of this forum and see several examples, one even made front page only today, where a Commissioner in Abia State was accused of raping an 11 yr old girl - not talk of your priests who specialise in sodomising young boys.
https://www.nairaland.com/2201319/abia-commissioner-allegedly-rapes-11

Final advice: its better you stick to what you know best; I hear there is an opening for a Chief Impregnator at a baby factory, you will be suitably qualified because they do not need you to have a brain to apply.
Yeye de smell.

Hahahhahah, well done for picking my mistakes and typing errors and dwelling on them while skillfully avoiding the bone of contention. It is clear you lack simple comprehension. Am sure that contraceptive did some damage to the part of your brain responsible for assimilation. grin grin or could it be that part of the blood as a result of the vvf had contact with your brain?

grin grin Don't you see how many imams make the rounds on fp every week for raping under aged girls? grin grin

Christianity doesn't teach it's followers such evil neither does any prophet or renowned Christian mentioned in the Bible was credited with such evil practice but some Christians in their free will and human weakness commit such evil when they slip from God's GRACE and yet, there is always restitution and forgiveness for those willing to come out of such evil turning a new leaf.

In the case of your pedophile prophet mohamed (curse be upon him. (cboh), he thrived all through his life in raping and ravaging both married and single women including children and eventually died on aisha's bossom (whom he married @ the age of 6 and disvirgined @ the age of 9 (shameless and disgusting) ) while his pen-is was erect pointing to the sky grin grin.( that signifies a man under a sexual curse in africa) grin.

Isn't that the same reason your imams are following his practice by raping under aged girls?
I don't blame them because he promised them everlasting erection of the pen-is in the company of 72 virgins in "his" heaven and it leaves me wondering if the only sound one will hear in "mohameds heaven" is women and men mourning in sexual ecstasy and the only sight one will see in such heaven is unclad men walking around with everlasting erect pen-is pointing to the sky and looking for the next virgin to plunder or men rapping women in every corner.
What a sight that would be. Am sure you hope for such too. grin grin grin

That was a very arrogant statement. Is debate only about what Jonathan did? Isn't it a platform to show Nigerians how your project is better and more feasible/beneficial when compared with your major challenger? He probably don't really understand the importance of political debate

Your insults against me and the religion of Islam are noted; but I will not allow you derail me from the issue at hand, which is your silly ignorant statement; suggesting that debating (presumably presidential debate e.g. between GEJ and GMB) is an essential unique feature of democracy.

"Only in democracy you hear of debate or has anyone heard of a national debate before the assumption of a military rule?"

Mr. Retardeen, I would like to see how you could still justify the above foolishness.

As for your fixation on so called under aged marriage and sex with specific reference to the prophet of Islam; I'll have only this to say to you: Kindly Google for the age of sexual consent at the heart of Christianity, the Vatican, and also the age at which Mary was betrothed to Joseph as well as the age she gave birth to Jesus.

BTW, your mistakes were not typographical but calamities for a so called educated man, who ironically had to endure the ignominy of being corrected by an Almajiri.
