He is damn right, who pirates d majority of d season films we have in Nigeria? Naa Donatus now.

Its very obvious the level of damage Jonathan as a President has done to the psyche of an average Nigerian with his divide and rule policy, which in the long run did not help in his re-election bid. Nigeria has not been so divided esp along ethnic and religious lines in d last 16 years. The result of d last saturday Presidential election attest to this fact- where two regions decided to vote along premordial ethnic and religious sentiments.This was not d case during d Obasanjo administration in which he lost woefully in d SW region where he comes from. GEJ has succeeded in emphasising our divisiveness instead of unity which we are trying to build. I only pity those who see him as a "hero"

so many stupid people on Nairaland this days, I think some people only read the title of the post without bothering about the content,and I think the op is very biased with his comment, I can't find any indictment in kunle's tweets that shows that he is causing the Igbos, he made a statement that most pirates are igbos not that all are igbo's and he said God will punish them(pirates) not that God will punish Igbo's So you all can take chill pill and try and understand what the man was saying before

The day I witnessed piracy first hand at Alaba market,I wept for film makers in this country.
I actually went to buy a generator and stumbled on this double lock up shop. They had this electronic machine that was spitting out CD discs faster than the eye could follow. Then they had these young kids,picking the discs from the floor and slipping them into cases. Assessing the way that machine was vomitting discs,I assumed it could produce over a thousand discs per minute.

Now imagine the number of shops in Alaba where the same process goes on daily.
We all know those who dominate Alaba market 99% now.

There's no ending to the rivalry between yorubas and Igbos.Funny enough,Igbos still prefer yorubas to the Hausas and the Hausas prefer yorubas to the Igbos. your post is like justifying the act of a prostitute simply because they induce men to patronise them.. its all about your integrity; there is no need to pirate another man sweat; it is only in Nigeria I know this isn't taken as a serious offence.. of course when thing get pirated and sold cheap; some people would like it but is it really right? Put yourself in the shoes of the producers that spend their hard earned money to produce. If the igbos and all others who pirate maintain their integrity; no one would be patronising then; they are the once inviting people to do so
