Just imagine, what a careless speech can do and to think that this is few days to guber election. The media have taken this story, and they will ride on it till Saturday

I think people are now giving too much relevance to igbos in Lagos, during the presidential they all voted massively for their kin but APC still won, how much less a yoruba PDP candidate. His royal highness knows who they are and how to treat them hence his harsh word against them. I am disappointed at Yorubas joining hands to condemn Oba's statement, you can't treat igbos with kid's gloves, the more you respect them the more they take you for granted. Imagine people hating bitterly on their host where they are earning their daily bread, these people are DARK tribe, you can't satisfy them.

Since they are customized with failure, let them vote their failure PDP again, and they will reap their failure in the coming years

That makes your decision to vote for Ambode unsure.
Do you even have a purpose?
You don't even know what you want and that's the thing affecting a lot of people here
The mind is a fck!n trickster.

Its a shame how things are blown out of proprtion all in the name of ethnic and tribal fronts.

I agree with u perfectly but like I said, there is no individual that can speak for a whole race or ethnic group.I gave example of my family while my brothers and sisters were rooting for buhari,I pitched my tent with GEJ and I also have many Ibo friends who voted for Buhari but some people will want to believe otherwise.humans are rational being and what moves me might not be same for others.I can tell u that many ibos will vote for Ambode while others will vote for Agbaje.the problem is thst some people assume the role or pretending to speak for others whereas they are speaking for themselves.Afterall,it was Ibo leaders who paid a solidarity to the Oba of lagos when the alleged threat was made.I don't think Ibos from what I know and hear from my brothers and friends in lagos, are not really bothered about the outcome of the guber election in lagos but sadly, social media crusaders will always heat up every issue.the truth is whoever wins the electon on saturday, the ibos will still be in safe hands either PDP or APC becos they are already well integrated in lagos.Yorubas and ibos has always lived peacefully and there has never been any incidence of violence between the two ethnic group.don't take everything u read becos it doesn't often reflect the true situation on ground.people are uneccessarily heating up the election and it shouldn't be.this individuals are two yoruba Sons and confirmed lagosians for that matter so it shouldn't be a problem who wins! I can tell u as an ibo man,the ibos are not ganging up against any candidate.there is no such thing like that

OK. Cheers!

Igbos will regret nothing. Change is in the air, let it sweep across all borders. let us give another party a chance in Lagos. Especially a true son of the land. Epe, which Ambode claims is his homestead is a no mans' land. We know his roots.

truthfully, the oba should have been more careful in his choice of words ,,,,,,but we need to ask ...why did the igbo group go to pay him a courtsey call? Was it just a courtsey call or they went to plead for his support to jimi agbaje? Cos he was really angry when talking and he mentioned he had told jimi he couldnt be governor. This is jjust a propaganda. Cos we didnt get to hear or watch theigbo group address the oba. All we saw was his response.

For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. We have seen the reaction....but what was the initial action that caused the reaction. A full video of the visit should be released.

I honestly would love to see a day an Igbo Governor would appoint a Nigerian of Yoruba or even Ijaw extract as Commissioner just as Lagos did. Oba Akiolu ' s statement is something every Nigerian should be ashamed of and be condemned but to make it sound like Igbos are percecuted in Lagos or any part of the South West is simply playing dangerous politics. Igbos like every other Nigerian ethnic Nationality have contributed to the growth and development of Lagos but they like everyone else also got prosperity in return. Bola Tinubu as Governor went out of his way to appoint an Igbo man as Commissioner in spite of protests from so called sons of the soil. Igbo Lagosians are employed in the state civil service. NOT ONE SINGLE South East state would ever appoint non Igbo Nigerians into top positions in government. Today we have 3 member of the Federal lawmakers of Igbo extraction representing Lagos. Let no one judge the Yoruba with the foolishness of an Oba. Jimmy Agbaje sent out flyers stoking Igbo against Yoruba in the past week but didn't get the same level of condemnation that Akiolu is rightly getting today. Igbos in Let the madness stop.
