well you are quite true the young man is too over confident of himself and then if I were him I wouldn't have gone in for that interview since I came in here and I was told what I filled in was an outright denial reason, he relied mainly on his huge account statement and he got refused, if I were him I will address my mistakes and reapply simple and short but he wouldn't do that and truth is other better countries are drop box and you have to submit all the documents of your life and he will never pass for their visa I can bet on that

If i was told having a high balance is a problem i would have gone with a smaller account statement that i use for shopping(ATM) and those other petty things.
What i don't understand however is the reason anyone will think i faked my account statement. If i did, why will i hide it from NLanders ? i would have atleast asked the house for advice. I am also not stupid to fake account balance and put such a figure. You people must think i live in a cave.

Funny they didn't ask anything about business registration. They didn't at all ask anything about my business address or stuff.
I took a whole lot of documents to prove my work and they didn't even bother to ask. Am guessing they already flagged the application before the interview.

well I think his statement of account was asked for due to responses given to the v.o, I have never been asked for account statement before the only thing I was asked for is the copy of my hubby's recent visa page because he has gotten the us visa 2 years each on 4 occasions while I haven't got none

Nne I disagree o! Remember VOs are human and personal opinions play a large role in the determination. IMO a guy that gets a girl pregnant and fails to marry her is not a dependable guy so nothing stops him from absconding in the US. Everything just worked together against him

hello great nairalanders, it's been a while now and trust you are all doing great. I need information on the requirements for obtaining international passport for my 11 months old son who is to visit the u.s.a with his mother for a wedding in July. Am currently not with my family as am out of our state of residence and needs to get him his passport this week assignment which would be carried out by his mother since am unavailable. please what are the documents that they require at the immigration office to facilitate his passport and the official price of the passport for a baby.

Am new here, but going through the recent comment about d guy with 24M, its happen like dt at times, like my own for example, my monthly is more that 860k in Naira equiv. and all house household income with wife is more than 1.4m monthly,
I applied with my wife and kid to go and give birth and enjoy summer vacation.
The VO said she is not convinced that we would return back since we have not traveled together as family in 2 years,
I am still laughing till now, because is sounds funny to me, I cant imagine leaving my job and also my wife leaving hers and go start somewhere that you know is hard to make a living there.

So at time, the V.O's know what they always based their decision on. But my own case is still funny, each time I remember I always laff
