yes, enough travel history o, I visit the UK 4 times a year and the UAE once or twice when I can stop by.

Amen! I tap into this really positive post, don't worry you won't quit nairaland and I will get the visa o, BTW my last refusal in Feb and now I have visited the uk twice and another country in southeast Europe.

Am still wondering why they haven't given you, you go to the UK and back and you don't violate nothing. The money for tickets alone should confirm you are not financially inadequate of funding your travel assuming your bank statement was fabricated at "Olawale".
Your record is good, perhaps you've been encountering a vexing VO.

@chloe7 Yes,i have already booked an hotel with my debit card,I partner with a company using my truck for logistics of petroleum products and the company remits payment into my account,my wife is working and dont know when her leave will be granted and my son is on school session,I want to visit tourist places and relax.

I was too hungry after the interview because I had only coffee and I was in the early stage of my pregnancy sef and I now went to wear stilettos as if person send me message,
I think female v.o's are more lenient ,because on both occasions I prayed to be interviewed by men because I always think men are more favorable, the first was Chinese and really mean, the second was American from his accent and looks and he seemed really understanding and asked for a copy of hubby's visa page I gave him although I wasn't married then,and then he typed something from the visa into the computer and asked where my husband works, his position and how long he has worked there I answered, he asked when I intend getting married I said later this year and he asked what else I do asides my boutique, I couldn't even explain myself about what I studied and why I wasn't practicing at that moment, it lasted for less than two minutes and next thing was a refusal.

where are you attending the interview, ?malawi or nigeria?

Yes of course you can be traveling on a vacation, but you should have a destination and note the tourist attractions in that destination

Will the American embassy at malawi allow you to apply when you are in Malawi on a tourist/conference visa -yes.
Will they give you the visa? - No
The primart consideration in granting visasa is ties to the place you are applying from. Nigerians staying legally with resident permits in different countries get visas to the US (my friend is one of such people) because they have a tie to the place, eg work, school and in most cases families that also live and work/school there.
Apply for your visa in Nigeria where you can prove ties.

I think not expecting so much makes one feel relaxed. i have never used my international passport before but prior to my interview, I just went in there and answered all asked questions with an open mind. Besides, they will never ask you anything beyond what you filled in your DS-160.

infact ehn my sister this time around i'm prepared for the best and the worse, there is nothing they will say that will surprise me or upset me, I almost gave up on this us issue my hubby and LadyGuinivere was the push to buy form..lmao

The upside is that the VO noted that u were getiing married and u complied. Though I'm worried about the travel together thingie.

it will be well IJN, I must say times are hard, no money to waste at all now, i'm waiting for cheap tickets in august so I can waka by September, I can't afford to buy any yeye ticket now even though hubby doesn't mind, me I mind and over mind. As for the travel tight thingy it is almost impossible till December, I am a frequent traveller because of my boutique and other franchise business, but my husband is a banker and work is really overwhelming, he can only travel once a year and even that my December is out of it, he can only make a few days in Feb and maybe when he has to travel as per work related issues

are you using the Lagos or Abuja embassy? Because I checked Lagos embassy and they still have dates for first week in July.

please i have interview on monday but i want to ask if i can tell the VO that i am also a sudent of xyz preofessional institution which i didnt mention in my DS-160. PLEASE IS THIS OK. I am a banker full time staff
