I have explained that verse you quoted .. You quoted the texts without understanding the context. .when Christ said he came to fulfil the old testament so that all will be accomplished he was right and at his death on the cross he said, " it is finished" the old law was gone at that point. .. that's why we have the new testament just as God planned. This is our primary duty as christians, our calling if you will. I like to think of christainity as a way of life and not labeled as a religion. As Christians living in this present world, we are to share the gospel with others. It was our Lord's last command he left with us before his ascension to heaven and it was also one of his first commands to those he called to follow Him.

When Jesus called the disciples, Peter and Andrew, he told them And he saith unto them, "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." - Matthew 4:19
