Y'all talk about salaries as if some Yankees earn any more than we do.
The US consulate doesn't give a Rat's butt about a lot of things namely salary and the others. There's an instance someone with an income of less than 50k got approved.

Once again I wanna use this medium to say, Travel history and home ties are invaluable in getting approved. Not forgetting the disposition of the officer and the " " wey dey for ya village.

my uncle intends on travelling to the US this September. he visited the US on a student visa in the 70s/80s but he's forgotten the year his visa was issued, the year he travelled to the US and the length of time he stayed in the US. do you guys think the embassy still has his records on their database?

Hi guys, I read few of ur comments b4 heading with family 2day for the interview. I must say, it was just Gods grace, and thks to u guys too. I noticed they granted visas to elderly people and people who came as family. They really bounced young and single peeps. The VO didn't ask us much, went with my dad, mum and elder sis.
VO- whr are u people travelling too?
We- Texas
VO- have u travelled to the US b4?
We- No
VO- asked my popsy, how long have u been self employed and if he was paying for us all?
Dad- 20yrs and yes, I am paying.
VO- "smiled" and asked my sis, are u a student?
Sis- No, I work
VO- asked me same question as he asked my sis

VO- "coughed" and drank from his flask. He then asked, what we were going to texas for?
Dad- for my sons graduation ceremony

I sugges you wait till you are married or have better travel history.

LadyGuinevere pls what should I do... I got engaged some few weeks after my online registration and I am thinking of reapplying again.... I don't know I should put engaged or single still and I don't know maybe I should apply soon I mean next month not dis month again.... lol I believe say winch dem dey follow people enter water Carrington sef.....but dem no follow me dat day na baba God say my time never come... cos I believe the next attempt will be great news
