so do you know anyone that has applied for expedited appointment for the purpose of childbirth?

Yes I do Madam! My previous reply stated that. What you should ask is does she have a good reasons with @ least 4 evidence? As required by the embassy?

Hello all, been a silent follower (mainly because no one ever replies my messages. ..lol) anyway, thanks to advice from this forum I was granted a visa today along with my 3year old.

I was initially scared because I have been refused UK visa 4 times, the last being 2months ago and I have been refused a US visa in 2013 when I applied with my husband, im guessing cos his sister alredy filed for him.

I arrived with a bulging 7mnths pregnancy and a very very very active toddler with no one to assist. After chasing her about the embassy it was finally my turn. The type of favour i met with the VO was only from God.

the interview went like dis;

VO: why are you travelling to US
me: for childbirth and vacation
VO: can I see your doctors correspondence
I gave her and she read carefully
VO; can I see your bank statement
I passed it with my budget sheet and hubbys payslips (cos im not employed myself).she took her time to go thru (2.5m in acct with 2.2m on budget sheet)
V.O: have u travelled out before and purpose?
me; yes....twice to UAE
V.O: where will u be staying
me:with my sis in law
V.O: your visa has been approved. ......

thanks all on dis forum

We have over flooded the hospital. Kai! Anywhere we go, we over flood and overwhelm it as long as the bills are right.

Hi everyone, I am new to this forum and have been reading for the past 2 days. Read from part 1 though had to skip some pages.
Can anyone please help with any affordable hospital in Dayton, ohio.
The cheapest I have gotten for 2 day stay delivery is $7,000. This is minus doctors fee as well as blood work and paediatrics.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

What's your reason for the emergency that requires expedited appointment for your interview? Get documents to support your reason. If I know your reason for the urgency, maybe I would be able to advice on documents to support your reason. Be honest!

Is living outside Lagos or the inconvenience of where you're putting up your only reasons?

Please this is not a sponsored post!!!! Just my humble feedback from the service I got from MIHS...
Not trying to discourage anyone from going there but I think with the distance and hike in prize u should not settle for mediocre service.i had my baby in Mihs this year February, stayed in legacy suites with couple of friends.we all had C - section and oh boy!!! I tell u it was C - section of death and they even injured my baby girl's head with explanation dat she was struggling to come out during C - section o!!! .i had my 1st baby in Chicago with a C - section so I really knw wat am talking about.my friend had her 1st C - section here in Nigeria general hospital and prefer the experience to Mihs.the journey and trauma can really worth it if d prize was 2800 but still 'emi loju' ur health and d baby's health is more important.Just my experience! !!!.Thanks.

Hello NLders in this thread, some of you may know me. I've been following this thread from prt 1 to 2 and have also contributed. I've been doing all these for my wife and unborn child. At a point I decided that I made her read through the threads cos she would be the one to face the VO alone, as I won't be there with her. Today was her interview in Abuja mourning hours. And to God be the glory it was a success. According to her, the interview lasted for about 5 to 7 mins. It was God's favour all through. She was honest about her intention to travel (birthing) and all necessary documents was packed. But amazingly, she didn't even open her burden of proof file jacket all through the interview, as she was not asked of any documents, accept the ones (Intl passport, visa app confirmation page, appointment confirmation page and passport photograph) she used for entrance. Infact, she wasn't asked for hospital correspondence, accommodation, bank statement, etc)... Let me stop here I will post the entire VO scene (experience) in my next post...

Tvegas has dealt with this extensively. check his posts in the travel section. If not, then google is your friend.
If you need the information, then just read through the part 1.
