manie:
They earned N856 million from registrars income, they earned N11 from dividends, interest on term deposit is N353 million, interest on treasury bills is N376 million, interest on BA/CP is N317 million, interest on bonds is N260 million.

They have less than 80 workers and the personnel cost is just N243 million.

APR ie former UBA Securities that comprised of UBA Registrars now APR and UBA Capital now United Capital are well managed subsidiaries of the old UBA.
By 1H, APR would have made enough cash to pay 35kobo dividend by 2016. That is a few millions in my purse

This is a very small company with higher potentiality for growth. Do you think if they remove unclaimed dividend from their future balance sheet this will not impact negatively on their bottom line?

Cyriacus, are u related to zebrudaya okorigwe nwodo alias 4.30?
@ house, has d rule taken effect? Plz let's know the % of afriprud profit that is due to unclaimed div.
No Sister Mercy, I'm of the lord like the name depicts, that is why I have recognised with brothers and sisters of like minds.

IMO, I think this might place some pressure on profits in the nearest future considering the % of assets made up of unclaimed dividends on the balance sheet. Strictly my opinion.

SEC and CSCS also monitors NASD. Most stocks on NASD are not good, but some are money spinners for the long term investors.
OTC mkt is prone to manipulation more than Exchange stock because of weak regulatory surveillance.

Only very few are trustworthy in Nigeria OTC

I will advice you to get the annual reports of the company for the past 2 years and try to understand their business. I am not in the position to know what will happen to this company in the next 5 years, but I have a feeling that the future is very bright for this company.

And that's exactly what will happen. I said it sometime ago that if you are not in for a long term i.e 4yrs above.

Then better sell off your holdings and go in Agricultural and food related ventures.

Bcuz presently the Nigeria economy is nothing to write home about and very soon a lot of pigs will get slaughtered. he that has ears let him hear.
You're right Sir. The pigs are already been slaughtered.

System in progress. ..
