Abiola1016:this is Abdur-Rahman farms and feedmill. B.Agric. Unilorin. 17 years experience in poultry. specialise in Animal nutrition.(poultry, fish etc.). 08062916574 i can answer ur quest thus; where are u based and in which state. there are basically 3 types; (1) big commercial e.g topfeed, amobeing, hybrid etc. (2)small commercial e.g Boar feed, Gold(ours) etc. (3) selg milling.( in this, u take a forular to tollfeed millers and they produce for u) grower averagely(1) #2,650 , (2) #1,850, (3) #1,500 layers averagely(1) #2,750 (2) #2,000 (3) #1,850. note the no 2 is better. in no !, cost of all professional and staff etc makes it expenssive. not necessaryly quality. our colleagues are their professionals. in no 3, u ar not a professional and thus can not actualise the required nutrients. but the no2 combines the quality of less price and quality 2nd question, just multiply each of this figure by two for 50kg. as each bag is 25kg if u mean 1,200 laying birds, calculate like this; each laying birds consumes 0.125kg. thuse 1,200 consumes 150kg(6 bags) daily.or 180 bags monthly. just multiply by the prices i gave u. last quest. where are u based.u can contact me for all advises in establishing or ANY question on this. be rest assured u are contacting a GURU. |

Nice thread OP. @ farmtech, for your DOC beddings, I would advice you use dry wood shavings(not sawdust) covered with layers of newspaper to avoid the mold problem. |

Fantastic job you are doing Farmtech. I would like to share with you that it is better to give Marek's vaccine @ the hatchery and repeated @ day 3 for adequate immunity against Marek's disease which is a viral infection of poultry birds. Therefore, by day 35, infection would have probably be on but won't be noticed till the birds are about 16weeks when they are mature to lay. |
