Hello House,
please experience El paso Mama's has anyone ever used paid help (Nanny) while in El paso ie you travelled without any family to help you. How did you get the help and what was your experience.

I know of someone who used one. I was planning to use her too but my children have been awesome. Eat and sleep! That's all they do and this has given my mum and I ample time to do other chores. If you need her number, inbox me.

Thanks love. It's my 2nd option but nothing beats that Ghana must go bag. It's very strong and can contain lots of things.

On my husband ds 160 I filled the information of his friend that stays in california as U.S contact information , does that really matter as we will be going to texas? Interview is in 2wks #CONFUSED
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 2 by bigfido: 9:31pm On Aug 09, 2015
oh ok, i contacted them and they told me i would spend close to 10gs.. I actually called the the hospital and i was referred to the doctors. May i be i will tell someone to go there and check for me. Funny thing is i was in Hempsted for like 3 weeks looking for a reasonable hospital but didn'y find mmc on the radar at all.. if you have someone i could talk to, please send me the person's number. Thanks a lot

ewa2014:

No, I contacted them but I dint use them... Use the MMC clinic itself... Their doctors would attend to you... Tell them you are self paying and you get to pay $1100 for prenatal testing and drugs, sonogram and delivery. It's a package that makes sense...

If u use any of those naija doctors you are looking at within 3-5k in addition to the 6k hospital charge for two day stay.

Let me answer the simple one - you don't need to have the same travel dates as your husband.

On the other one, seems complicated cause all the burden of proof you gather now will be useless eventually. The thing is that there's nothing wrong with changing your mind and maybe notifying the embassy if your destination changes and carry it along, just in case you need it at POE.

The challenge is that this is not a change of mind - since you know now. Isn't it possible that you get the new location now?

Babe, you do not want to buy wipes from the US, especially if you live in lagos, those things weigh a ton & the difference in price is non existent.

Do an experiment, ask someone to price it for you & compare the price, on another note, you paid for baggage allowance, you may as well gbadun it...

Thanks sis. Just a few packs. I'm mostly into diapers and baby formula. They are quite expensive here and I doubt if I will see them in Naija. If I ever see them,;they might cost an arm and a leg. Can't wait for the children to start drinking pap jare.

Am not sure you can travel to Nigeria with Ghana must go from the states, you will need to buy those light weight bags. They tend to reject it at the airport as most airlines have had to pay passengers for lost or missing luggage when its Ghana must go as it gets torn easily especially when its checked by TSA. So they've not been accepting it. However you can travel from Nigeria to the States with it as your luggage.
