Nigerians Don't Care About Flat Stomachs? by Nobody: 2:04pm On Aug 13, 2015
From my experience, it seems Nigerians don't really care about flat stomachs. Many people, even young females and males don't have them and don't seem concerned about that. In the Western World, to be considered attractive a flat stomach is a must, but many people who are called hot in Naija have protruding bellies.

This issue is irrespective of body type because I've seen a lot of slim people with larger stomachs too.

Is it that Nigerians don't care about a small waist and flat stomach as much as the rest of the world? And if so why not. This is actually a real health issue grin

1)Unless you're a pregnant woman a big stomach should always be a worry. Although I'm not talking about the health issue so much I'm talking about why it's not considered unattractive to have a big stomach.
2)If we can copy the bad, why not the good?
3)But if you didn't know, excess fat on the stomach is more dangerous than excess fat anywhere else in the body. /let's not derail please grin/

Sumo wrestlers don't have 6 packs, but are considered strong and attractive in other cultures.
Many white men like skinny women.
Many black men like thick women.
Etc etc

Lol. Thick doesn't mean big stomach my dear. I'm not skinny or even slim but I have a flat stomach (just using myself as an example grin)

Ok LoL
But I have a friend who goes crazy for thick women (with or without big stomach).
He is not thick himself, just slim and not up to 6ft tall.
Many black men are very happy with those "fat" oyibo ladies also.
Another friend of mine detests skinny women LoL.
I dont think standards of beauty can be legislated.

Anybody that says protruding bellies are attractive is saying it solely to console himself because he/she is too lazy to get out there and lose that unhealthy fat.

I endeavour to keep my physical figure looking awesome.

and if as a naturally not-so-fat guy, I still cut down my food intake and exercise a lot, I don't see why the fat ones can't.

big, fat bellies have never been an attractive thing to anybody and never will be.

Flat stomachs are a sign of beauty in many cultures for evolutionary reasons

A flat stomach is a sign of fitness and good health

A flat stomach combined with wide hips on a female, with fat distributed mainly to the buttocks, is a sign of femininity/fertility

It is easier to attract a male using these qualities than with a large and bloated stomach, with little buttock fat

Nigerians care about the stomach but they don't mind if other interesting parts "dey there". They can tolerate it if so, but if not...na deleted number be dat
