Hiya folks, also on the weightloss train, tried all the slimming coffee, green teas, dietshake everything, to no avail, I'm too lazy to exercise, so here's what I'm doing currently that is giving me good results,

Breakfast
Pap, sometimes I take it without sugar or milk, sometimes I add it, reason I take pap/cornmeal/ogi is cos that's what my kids have for breakfast, so it's easier for me to prepare. If I get hungry later on cucumbers or carrots r the deal, they are filling, I don't take other fruits cos they just make me hungrier,

Lunch
Whatever I feel like eating, but in a small quantity, I use baby plates to dish my food it tricks my brain into thinking iv eaten a lot and I use a tiny spoon to eat

Dinner
Any soup I have in the freezer, or vegetables,

And most importantly I take a cup of water every hour

Now I won't say I'm a lazy person, il just say that I don't have the passion or energy to stick to exercise regimens or diets, which is why what I just outlined above works for me, especially the drinking a full cup of water every hour part, the water keeps the hunger at bay, hydrates my body and keeps me feeling full.

I set an alarm on my phone for every hour and I make sure I drink that water, even when I'm at work a pure water satchet will do. I check my scale every week and I loose 3kg per week, without exercising.

Disclaimer

Now I'm not saying my way is the best way or the healthiest way to loose weight I'm just sharing what works for me

This is the 3rd week and the 3kg loss is still happening, though at d corner of my mind I feel it will get to a point where I won't loose that 3kg a week without adding a Lil exercise to it, but for now I'm going with d flow, when I get to d point where d weightloss stops happening, il gather energy to exercise... Maybe

That's a nice one o.........i'm not so much of a water person but i'll try out this your formula. I also dont have much time for excercise.

Meanwhile i just discovered something interesting...........and its working for me as well. I juice bitter leaf, ugwu, basil leaves (efirin) and ginger (bitter leaf juice alone would be too bitter which is why i mixed it with other vegetables and a spice) at weekends (this is my second week) and take one glass every night before i sleep. Initially i was taking a glass in the morning, but the way that the drink flushes one's system is not good for someone that does my kind of job, because i move around a lot and i cant be using toilets indiscriminately. So the juice and water are my only liquids.....no soft drinks or sugar kinda stuff. And i snack on carrots, cucumbers, garden eggs everyday......one particular vegetable each day.

as at when i started, i weighed 70kg, but i wont check the scale again till i've done it for a month. I just pray to God the slimming runs does not extend to my backside and thighs o. *Shaking my head vigorously in the place of prayer!

@qizick, 55kg is my aim as well.

Lol...I weigh 108kg, but that is due to my body structure, and associated workout routine. Just Hit the Gym, cut down on what you eat, eat light, and dinner shouldn't come after 6:30. Best of luck cheesy

I like what you guys are doing here ...the typical lady from these parts doesn't care much about these things.
I personally prefer a woman that's all about her fitness.
Goodluck on your journey. One day at a time smiley

The best way to lose weight is to control your diet. Watch what you eat!
Regular exercise also helps shed some weight and helps you stay fit.
If you can, avoid eating anytime after 8PM. If you have to eat late at night, make sure you do not go to bed until 3 hrs after dinner.
