Err, I think the title of the thread is self-explanatory enough and it's about a group, hence the OP used "lady". So why are you trying to go off on a tangent by bringing guys into it?

If you want to discuss guys from broken homes, feel free to create a thread about it and I'm sure chics who have dated such guys would have interesting perspectives to add to ya topic. I'm not gay, so I wouldn't know what such guys are like in a relationship.

I honestly don't know what's one-sided in sticking to the trajectory of the subject-matter in discourse. And when upstanding folks allude to women being emotional beings, you lot would start throwing hissy fit everywhere like a spoilt brat.
I don't have anything to say to you young man, its so glaring you don't understand me and I don't want this to lead to insult.

Loool.

An owanbe face is the type of face synonymous with a lot of naij chics...the type you don't want to wake up next to, else ya whole day would be messed up. grin

Anyway, though I don't know what you look like - you don't sound like the type with an owanbe face. tongue

Lol.

I don't know what's there to understand apart from the fact that you're being defensive and that's obvious from you asserting that "ladies from broken homes have been through a lot" and trying to twist a topic that's simply straight-forward into a next men vs women battle. Why can't you just stick to the topic and make arguments for ladies from broken homes, rather than try to drag guys from broken homes into it?

You sound like a lady from a broken home, or a single mum. Listen, I don't have problems with people from broken homes and, dysfunctional families are part and parcel of the black family structure these days - since there are more people from broken homes than folks with the two parents living under the same roof. And it has become a vicious cycle that keeps getting worse by day and a reality we all have to accept. So I'll never talk bad about folks like that cos I've gazillion of them as friends, family, and acquaintances.

I was just talking about my experience and observations - and it wasn't anything malicious. Heck, I did allude to the fact that they'd make great mums. However, if you have ever been with ladies from broken homes, you'd know that they all have the same flaws indicative of their background and it's right to talk about these flaws. We as black people just hate the truth - the only thing we love doing is to chase shadows everywhere and lie to ourselves, with the message of hope and religious crap as a veil to cover what's fundamentally wrong. Perhaps when folks start telling these women about the dysfunctional kids they raise when they tear their families apart - they'll start mating the right way and staying in marriages, rather than breaking everything apart.

Anyway, if you want to know what guys from broken homes are like - I'd wager that you should date one to find out. They aren't hard to find in black communities everywhere. I can't speak about what they're like in relationships - but based on friendships, I know they're always very hardworking cos they mostly grow up too fast by virtue of taking the responsibilities of a dad from a young age.

Lool brother shymm3x even if I want to upload a DP (but I don't) it will definitely be a face-only picture. I am very conservative (you know that already).

However, that doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to tell us if you're built like Toolz Oniru ya Ijebu sister. I believe she's very conservative as well, hence she was able to keep her virginity. lipsrsealed

I have checked through the pictures they seem okay but I hope to see more colorful ones maybe when the official photos are out one would see more. From the little I have seen though they represented well (as always). I like looking at the pictures for 2 major reasons: the horse riding and of course the clothes, I have seen some mamas with colorful outfits in those photos.

I will check the Nairalander guy who gave a link to watch the video (I mentioned you in that post) hopefully he will have pictures.

I just created a thread for it in the culture section: https://www.nairaland.com/2627937/ijebulands-ojude-oba-festival-2015#38434187

There are some horse riding pics on the thread.

Anyway, you didn't answer my question, Auntie Yetseyi...I want you to compare yourself to Toolz Oniru. tongue

Pictures of two Ijebu chics with ridiculous bodies - you need to tell me which of the two describes you:

1) Dunnie Onasanya

2) Toolz Oniru
