The problem is that most Roman Catholics in Nigeria don't even want to reason things out. They always compare Covenant and other private Universities with the Free education/ schools provided by the missionaries during the colonial era. What they dont know is that some parishioners were in Europe sponsoring the activities. Today Europe is a field and Nigerians are taking the Gospel to them and other African Nations. The tithe, Jets, etc are necessary in this era to effectively reach these dying world.

The church n Britain sacrificed everything to reach us for Christ, its our time to do same. We will continue giving to the expansion of the gospel irrespective of how much the devil tries to use some people to mock us out of it. We will generate the money to make our schools world class. I once heard Oyedepo say that what they pay lectureres in Covenant University is same as Havard. Can you beat that

Quality tertiary education doesn't come cheap.

If you want to go to Harvard/Yale/Princeton, be prepared to pay N25million(minimum)in school fees

Overseas, especially in the United States, Running a university is a MULTI BILLION DOLLAR affair.

After everything all of us go still enter the same labour market and after like 3yrss of unemployment, the guy man go don forget wetin him read for skul just like I ve forgotten some of mine.

Why you go dey pay that kind heavy amount and if you leave you no dey guaranteed say u go see Job immediately.

U know d only thing wey I just like about Private Universities be say dem dey teach them Vocational training and works.

Like JABU dey do teach dem Vocational works so if dem graduate at least they will still be attached to something to provide three squared meal for them.
