It's not our Dr that appoints for us
@firsttymum..pls I need a lil more info ..is it this same pd that handled your baby's circumcision, if not who handled it? And as she's not affiliated with Oakbend, you were able to use her only after you have been discharged?

Hmmm
Donald might not know the difference. no be triplets? e go come.
"Women who eat a lot of dairy in their diets also have a greater chance of conceiving twins or triplets as well. There have also been studies done that show that women who take a folic acid supplement are more likely to conceive multiples as well.

In some countries, women who eat a diet that includes a lot of yams are more likely to conceive multiples, so this indicates that perhaps yams might overstimulate the ovaries" ( internet search) in the 3rd missionary journey, my wife will take it slow eating yam....

Wow, mama triplets, a very big congratulations to you. GOD bless and keep them.

The two visa I got from Eddy last year and Tanko this year are all two years multiple visa.
Ehe, dey stamped my Dota in for 3months when we entered Naija last year. As she v overstayed her 3 months, is it gonna be an issue if she wants to travel out before the visa expires?

Meanwhile, They didn't write any date for my latest baby when we came back.

shocked they may just deport her back to the United States of America. Lol

Don't worry I doubt u will have any issues, although for my daughter they never wrote any date in the stamps

My opinion:

Your hubby's company is seen as a different entity from him even tho' he's the sole signatory and may raise red flag.

I will suggest he pays himself from the company acct into an account that bears his name.

Good afternoon all,

I really want to have my baby in the US and I'm mid term now. Haven't even started processing anything yet but hoping to start this new week.

For starters, I still have my passport in my maiden name. Is it going to be an issue as I am filing with my husband? Thanks in anticipation....

This was discussed in Part . I and a coupla dads had similar issue... 'guess it was wiped off by the data-loss tsunami that hit NL in 2013.

Technically your DH's company is seen as a different entity from him. But if he's the sole director/proprietor of his company and, of course, the sole signatory to the company account, then you are good! No need for board resolution. No need moving funds into his personal account or yours. He's the boss he takes all the decisions. Have a little knowledge of what the company does and go to the embassy with his certificate of incorporation, the company's statement of account and other CAC registration docs. However, a sumptuous balance must be maintained in the company account to convince the VO that the cost of childbirth in the US will not put the company's working-capital under pressure.

On the other hand, if your hubby is not the only director of the company then you need his company's board resolution stating the willingness to sponsor a director's child birth to back up his statement of account. Still with reasonable balance in the account, it is advisable he moves the estimated amount into your own personal account. You can always explain the purpose if asked reason for the sudden lodgement at the embassy.

@ Uchetobi 'been a while. 'sure you have put to bed. Hope you and baby are doing great

Congrats! May they continue to be sources of joy to your entire family. Good to know that you didn't have to incur the dreaded NICU bills. Take care dear.

Thanks MumTee.

BA gave us wahala o but we won sha at the end of the day. We booked our original tickets online via Wakanow. In fact the whole thing was kinda shady. We thought we booked using GT Bank Online Self Service, next thing we started getting emails and calls from Wakanow, so it wasn't intentionally that we got stuck with them.

Anyway, Wakanow and BA started passing the responsibility of who to add infant tickets to each other. After a few attempts, we got connected to a BA call center agent who was willing to help but the process was rather weird. What they did was make a separate booking for the infant and link that infant ticket to the existing one for DW. We were asked to call back after 48hours for the cost but this wasn't ready until the 4th day and even though they told us we could only pay $312.17 at the airport, quote we got upon reaching the airport was 345.17. Of course there was no option but to pay. It's safe to say the low point of our journey was the BA experience.

After paying, DW still didn't get a bassinet seat, thank God for the pleasant crew member who hooked her up with a row with one other empty seat.

Baby was entitled to a 23kg check-in luggage and a carry-on bag.

Finally, if you're paying for your infant ticket at the airport, hold extra cash o as you are almost guaranteed to pay more than was originally communicated.

MumTee:

Chei! @ Bros LI, round two keh wen una neva unpack bag finish, easy on madam o. Congrats on the successful completion of this mission.
Please for the sake of we peeps whjo also flew BA, a beg take us through how you went about adding the infant ticket, how much it cost, free baggage allowance for the infant etc. Thank u Sir

nope.
I'm doing mine in naija.
Ask Dr E for circumcision. Their quote to me was 150... Buh me and hubby wants real naija circumcision and we don't wanna take chances... We don't want corner "preek". grin

She's the pediatrician u see post delivery. Erm u r discharged they ask for details of Dr(pediatrician) u wanna see post delivery. Oakbend gives u a letter addressed to the Dr.
This letter contain investigations done, child's birth findings etc.
