Be warned, you son of an infidel. You are the one insinuating the Bible is outdated not people. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaketh.

Be warned!

You just insulted his father for something he knows nothing about, yet you believe you're better than him, Newsflash! You're not, you're just like every other so called sinner and are on an express train to the so called hell, no different than the person you just insulted his father.

No he did not condemn it....but have u forgotten that the old testament was given to the Israelite's not christians...christianity didn't exist then, so what it means by jesus christ fulfilling the law is that he came as an israelite and obeyed the law and now we are bound by the laws he left behind for us which is to love God with all your heart and mind and love your neighbour as you love yourself, this dosen't mean the old testament is irrelevant it can also serve as a guide....but we're not bound by it, if not all will God reject the souls of female evangelists that preached (talked) in church

Thank you jor.
If fulfilling the law was still a requirement, then no one will be saved.

The bible is clear in this matter. It states that in a WORSHIP congregation of men and women, men should lead but that does not say she can't ask question or preach or teach. The bible says she should teach her fellow women and younger ones. In a case where a woman is more knowledgeable in the family then she should of course teach her household but must remain in subjection to the men when it comes to worship in church. I don't like long typing so I hope my view gets across. Ask your questions.

so, you mean Israelis were not Christians then? Do you even realize there was nothing like Christians during the time of Jesus. Also Jesus was sent to the Israelis.

The bible isn't against braids but where the making of hair becomes more important to a woman that her modesty, where she uses her hair making for evil purposes it becomes a sin. Questions are entertained

whether you were an israeli abi israelite does not matter again...salvation is for all, if it mattered we for dey kill cow as sacrifice anytime we want to ask God for forgiveness....but do we do it....No...that means that even the church itself knows that these rules don't apply so why cancel some laws and leave the other one's behind

Jesus christ is the ultimate sacrifice no need for bull or ram abi cow again.

The bible abhorbs waste. Even Christ spoke against it. Live to eat and eat to live. Some persons just are so greedy that they want to finish everything at once. Eat to the point that they can't stand up and walk or begin to vomit. Eat two basins when the other person has eaten nothing. That's evil

In my own understanding....

That is in the Old Testament in the days of Elijah, Moses, Aaron etc...

The same bible let me to know that in

1 Corinthians 11:14
Does not nature itself teach you that if a man wears long hair it is a disgrace for him,....

Ezekiel also wore a beard, as you can see in this passage where God has him to shave part of his hair and beard, as a symbolic gesture showing the shame that would soon come upon Jerusalem. Shaving the head or beard of a man in these times would have caused severe humiliation, and God used this illustration by his prophet Ezekiel to reflect the impending shame that Jerusalem would soon feel by the hands of their enemies (the Babylonians):

“Now, son of man, take a sharp sword and use it as a barber’s razor to shave your head and your beard. Then take a set of scales and divide up the hair. (Ezekiel 5:1)"

You really lack understanding.

0ga op, that is the old testament not the new testament...jesus christ came to fulfill the law so all these dosen't apply to us again

Yelp, all those rules of living found in the old testament, no longer apply to us.

Well, what most christians don't realize is how much changed the moment Jesus resurrected from the dead. A new era began for mankind, an era of grace to say the least - an era where fulfilling the law was no longer what humans needed to do to be saved. An era of freedom (from the law).

Concerning the old testament references (beard, tattoos, mixing of garments), bear in mind that these (laws found in Leviticus and Exodus) are all a part of a body of 613 laws that came to define Judaism. The ten commandments are part of these laws. God issued these commandments and made a binding covenant with the people of Israel through Moses. After our Lord Jesus Christ came to establish a new way, it has been summarily established that the one commandment given to Christians is love - love for God and love for one another. And Jesus Christ did not expect us to achieve this in our own strength - He promised us His Holy Spirit and commanded that we abide in Him so we can yield fruit. I could post the scriptures supporting the suppositions above in a later post.

Bottom line? It really is not profitable for us to keep throwing up laws from the Judaic body of commandments as rules for Christians to abide by. They are two different paths: either subscribe to the Mosaic path and strive to obey ALL 613 rules perfectly (you are not allowed to break even one law - if you do, you bear the guilt as one that broke all (James 2:10)) or you submit to the Messianic path in Jesus Christ, accepting His sacrifice as payment for your sins, abiding by His commandment to love and surrendering to the Holy Spirit for power to actualize the commandment. Some people think the second is easier but what do you think is harder to actualize; abstaining from fornication or abstaining from lust? It's really not about counting what you are doing right or what you are doing wrong as a Christian, it's about asking for strength from God through His Holy Spirit to abide in Him and obey, so you can stand till the very end.
