the igbo girls i cant really understand them when it comes to relationship breakup.

d issue is dat my uncle was dating an igbo girl for over 2 yrs and tending to even marry her but along the the line their was some controversies and they brokeup and she left with the child. no contact, no trace.

I want you to note the following things. The fact that your uncle was dating a girl and just igbo girls and got her pregnant does not mean that they are married. The fact that they stayed together does not mean that they are a family. Your uncle did not pay her bride price and as far as her family is concerned she is not married. The child in question belongs to the family of the girl. So please advice your uncle that when he is ready to marry he should pay the bride price of the girl in question.
