Inasmuch as buhari isn't aa seasoned lawyer like Udoma and Adeosun, the two latter individuals haven't covered themselves in glory either.

Adeosun, four months into office hasn't given up to 3 press briefings on financial policies aimed @ revamping the nation's economy. Heck, she's been eerily silent all through; in words and in actions!

Udoma, sigh!.. I hear he's in charge of Budgets and Planning. Bearing in mind the gaffes and scandals we've been hearing about the nation's budget these past couple of weeks, its funny that no one has pointed fingers towards his direction.

Anyways... lemme just chill and watch how the whole scene plays itself out.

Funny you now remember that those duo are incompetent all because they stood up to your god Bubu cheesy cheesy

All of a sudden those that were asking Kemi to be redeployed are now on her side automatically because she disagreed with Buhari. No one is thinking maybe there's a chance they were protecting their own personal interests. Then as someone said, I don't think these agreements are drafted in one day. So I like to imagine if truly there were disagreements, all that would have been hashed out before they took the trip. There has probably been a lot of back and forth and agreements between both countries before they got on the plane to go there. I don't like news stories like these because how about we know exactly what the disagreement is so that we can judge. It's not enough to say he's not listening to them. Anyway it's a "let's bash Buhari article" so food for wailers... Enjoy!!

Then if these disagreements were truly bad, our ministers need to be able to let go of the perks of office and resign honorably. They won't be able to play ignorance if truly the agreements turn out to be bad for the country. Same way NOI can't claim full innocence of mismanagement of funds meant for arms procurement

One thing most of you have failed to realize is that most people that voted Buhari did so because he would fight corruption. To this people, Buhari is on the right path.

You are a staunch Buharist but do you support him on this?

Point of correction, Sahara reporters, Udo Udoma is not the minister for trade & investment. Udo Udoma is the minister for Budget and National planing.

Thank you very much

I didnt even see him in the photos of the President and his entourage in Dubai

I dont even think he was there.

I fully support Buhari on his mission and agenda to fight corruption to a stand still no matter in short term costs to our economy. We are nation moving without direction, with no plans and no agendas.

Whatever we want to achieve will always be messed up by a greedy few. We must severely punish government officials that have robbed us blind.

After we destroy the morale of the thieves, we can pick up our economy and let it function as it would in a normal environment.

One thing at a time.
U think jailing people and putting dem in prison is the best way to fight corruption? Den u r not academically sound and politically exposed. All these patterns av been used before, did it stop corruption?

This cost was brought upon us by PDP!

When a child becomes an adult God expects him to start taking responsibility and thus God no longer imputs his father's sins but his own. When will you start holding this government accountable for its own actions. If the PDP is responsible for everything, are we them implying they would be responsible for the outcome of the 2019 polls. Will you accept that.

Fashola your much acclaimed hero forged a legacy entirely of his own and surpassed his predecessor's achievements despite their several tiffs and oft having his hands tied. Buhari no doubt has been dealt a bad stack of cards but he has more than made up for that by owing no man anything. He has no present encumbrances, tied to no apron strings of people or institutions. He has the proverbial yam and knife. He has it all, so he and no one has any excuses for whatever outcome his decisions produce. Even his party is beginning to distance itself from some of the things happening just as the SMC by 1985.

Zombie!

That the specifics weren't stated doesn't mean weren't any.

Ain't they APC again? Or are you insinuating/assuming they've collaborated with PDP to run your Bubu down?

These people (Adeosun and Udoma) are experts in their field and they see what your god Bubu don't see and they must have told him of the implication of signing those agreement to the Nigerian economy.

But he's so blinded by he's desire to recover stolen funds/other sinister motives and thereby failing to listen to reasons from his anointed ministers.

Exactly no details of the disagreement. They even got the minister wrong, yet people are jumping on this like they were there. Like I said in an earlier post, how do we know they weren't just protecting their interests. Again it's so funny all these guys that were calling Adeosun incompetent, all of a sudden now agree with her without any details

Your point of reference is merely a negligible error that is common with most reports.

Do not wait to be fed with boring specifics. Discern!

An encouragement for the president to utilise the human resources available to him should not be seen as an unfair criticism.

You're sounding like a broken record already. I ask again, what are the reasons given by the mentioned ministers for their position?
You keep calling people zombies whereas you're the one acting worse than a zombie without being able to answer that question.

But don't you think the reason they donot express themselves is the over bearing influence of their principal.

Not comparing at all but when totalitarian rulers from Stalin to Phul Phut came to power the first thing they attack is creativity and the people often exhibited in gaols are intellectuals and artist(e)s. On the contrary nations where free speech is highly valued also have great innovation and are very prosperous. Even God Almighty wants us to talk and we talk a lot of rubbish despite His overwhelming power.

Keep quiet. You're not making any sense. Nobody can make any sense with this report without knowing the reasons for their position if they actually did oppose the president.

Where is your common sense?

So Udoma wasn't there, meaning Buhari was going to fire an imaginary person in Dubai.. wonderful. I love when all what PDP hates all of a sudden become their darlings when it against Buhari. Before now SR were liars that could never report any truth, now they swallow this hook, line, sinker without details even in a case they obviously got some things wrong. Kemi wasn't good enough, now her opinion has to be the best because anti-Buhari.. wonderful!

As far as I'm concerned, I don't see anything wrong with signing the trade agreements if it will help bring back our stolen funds and fight terrorism in the name of Islam. The ministers advising him did not even give any reason to back up their claims that it would not be in our interests. I support bubu jor.

Did you read the piece at all? They complained that. Nigeria was giving up too much meaning that UAE will benefit far more from the agreement than Nigeria.

But there is more to life and living. And corruption is not the biggest problem Nigeria has. We have far more serious issues. And even if corruption ends today it will not develop nor prosper this country. But it is good these things happen so that people will see clearly and find alternative paths. We will learn nationhood by substitution and elimination.
