Apologies for the harsh words...

The truth is that this forum has been very helpful to all and sundry and such unsubstantiated information is not good to be disseminated here.

There is a cbn circular halting the sale of PTA...it came into effect since last year.

No bank ...i repeat no bank sells pta...you can put a call to cbn feedback team online and make valid enquiries...pta and bta have been halted same with bdc...

Apologies...no harm intended but you lie my sister....kindly call the bank and branch and put me to shame.....until then...quit disseminating false information....when people that drafted the circular and attend mpc meetings talk you listen.

Madam wheredemdey, biko u lie ooo. Ds journey wey I dey so, I bot pta 4k. Even d uk wey I waka go last aug I bot pta 1k usd and 1885 gbp which is still equiv to 4k usd. See my stamped pp page. All ds over sabi mamas wey no dey allow person hia word sef

Since your visa is expiring in July n you r travelling in May it's okay. Once your visa is still valid at the point of entry and you tell them child birth n how long you intend to stay, they won't stamp you less than 3 months.

thank you so much

Keep shut and stop disseminating false information.

No bank in Nigeria currently sells PTA/BTA.....its a CBN directive that all PTA/BTA sales should be halted....i repeat no bank sells pta...do not be deceived.
you are so rude Ahan! Too bad of you, you don't address people this way at all

@wheredemdey you are the one disseminating false info. There is no CBN circular halting the sale of PTA. I work in a bank and we are selling to only premium customers because of the scarcity. Stanbic still sold till last week when their funds finished, and I'm aware that First Bank and Fidelity occassionally sell in some branches...

Even if you were right, no need to shut someone else up because you feel they are wrong, and in this case, YOU ARE WRONG!

@nadina sorry for the insult. pls keep the info flowing. it's left for pple to go the extra mile and see if the info works for them or not. thanks

Flip back two pages people on this thread have bought PTA this year.

How can you tell someone you don't know to shut it up. Did she charge you for the info she shared?

hello Guys

have been a silent reader just want to share my experience,we had our first child in NJ in 2012 in a private Hopital we had a bill of 17kusd and for the baby 2.5kusd ,we paid a total of 7k usd in btw the two bills, our visa expired 2014 .my wife is pregnant again and we applied for a drop box to renew our visas ,but she was called to come for an interview alone wthout me, in our first travel to the us in 2012 we told them at the POE that we are there to dleiver,

can her interview have sumtin to do with the unpaid bill some one pls advice .her interview at the us embassy in abuja is next week.

Wow shocked Let me see if I can give my 1 kobo,
Was the 17k bill discounted?if it was and you got a zero balance from the hospital, doctor, paed and anaesthesia then wifey is good to go for her interview. If the above is not the case then postpone the interview give the hospital a call and explain your case and let them know you would like to settle your outstanding bills and you are ready to pay cash and if they would be kind enough to give you a discount(if that's even possible considering you have messed up already)they would most likely tell you the bill has gone to collection ,please insist on paying the bill if you are financially capable @ the moment,if not ask for a monthly payment plan. That said wifey might have to forfeit this missionary journey to fix the already existing issue, and plan better for future Trump babies grin. You create your own fate by your actions, try to make a well informed decision, you already made a mistake FIX IT.

Hello house, I went for my Visa interview today at the Lagos Embassy, and it was a breeze(SUCCESSFUL)......God really favoured me.
I spent less than 4mins with the VO.
No document was asked for.no single one. The few questions asked was what my husband do,whr I work and what hospital am I using.
The VO also advised I keep all my receipts and get Zero bal.

I Want to thank everyone on this forum, I have learnt soooo much. GOD bless u all for sharing ideas and information.

The prob with money gram is that the send limit bankwide is small. So basically each bank branches may nt be able 2 process more dn 2 request per day while some do none. It's d fastest fingers tin. However some banks e.g access that does Saturday bankin are able to process more request on Saturdays.
