I wrote d DSS exam, I was invited for interview and later call for vetting. I fill forms in their office but jst dis week dey call me to confirm my PPA and y I attained 3 different sec skols. I want to ask if I still have a chance of getting d job or it has been hijack by politician. we where 7 dat did d vetting. and who knows wen d camp will b open.

MDA not MDG. MDA means Ministries, Departments & Agencies. The agencies under Ministry of Communications are

1. Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC) - Operates their own budget and do not depend on the national treasury. Their pay is very attractive and comes with an annual upfront running into millions. NCC's salary is crazy!

2. Nigeria Communications Satellite (NIGCOMSAT) - Operates special salary structure with starting salary around N135,000.

3. National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA). I heard speculations they start above N200,000, haven't really confirmed this.

4. Galaxy Backbone [no idea of salary but I heard it is also attractive]

Generally, all ICT parastatals have a good salary structure.

What do you know about NIMASA. This is one agency, together with DPR, I've been doggedly trying. I've approached many people via LinkedIn, all they say is what you also said, knowing a Senator/Hon or Oga at the top.

Could you please help in this regard?

If your Senator is willing to help you, then I say congrats in advance. Yes, PENCOM is very sure. Infact, if you go to their office today, they are expanding the space to create more room for new staff while some have been posted to other states. Hold your senator well. May God help you. If you need the DG's PA's number, let me know. However if your senator really wants to help, he will call the DG directly and your Senator can always get her (DG) number if he wants to.

Re-edit your Cv and ensure it is just one secondary school (precisely the one that gave you the certificate you're using) to avoid unwanted questions

Don't be discouraged. Of course, having come this far, you have a great chance. I hope you gave them a reasonable explanation as to why you attended three different secondary schools? If you did, then you should have no problem. Politicians did not hijack the recruitment, it is DSS that offered them slots and even the presidency got slots. The Chairman, House Committee on National Security got about 60+ slots and the Senate Chairman got 100.

I don't know what else to say. People are getting their employment letters. Though I heard a general recruitment will still come up, replacement is currently taking place.

NSITF is doing dere tin under G,A friend dat we both finished our service together 2014,Last year one of his Broda just called him 2 com nd resume and he was posted to his State of Origin(Enugu) immediately he start d work.Fellow nairaland A friend has went 4 IPPIS in Abuja wit one parastal under information bt she has not collect her Appointment letter and ve not resume the work since last month.Is dere hope 4 her?May God link us wit right connection to secure better job.
