Hi house! I Bought some items on Amazon avfew days ago. Amazon said$208, I chose the Naira option, and GT bank denied the transaction, I was askedbto go back and click on the dollar option. By the time the transaction went through, GT bank charged my Naira debit card at N320. They just ripped me off! It is well o!

Welcome back.

Sorry about the stress, I think it's the airline that is supposed to inform us of changes in schedule, the agents' job ends at ticketing. Just my thoughts o, I stand to be corrected.

Hmmm. These yoour questions show u have not researched and are not yet ready for the american dream. To born in the us is expensive. If 150 usd dey pain you then ul most likely resort to medicaid. U pay for evey single thing!
No 1. And 2 is the main staple topic here. Yes the embassy requies those docx. For cheap hospitals u just gotta read. U have a gold mine here.dig for it. Study to show urself approved for d visa.

Meanwhile wakanow will never cease to disgrace their ancestors. Went to check in at jfk yesterday and was told the scedule had changed and wakanow no tell us. Delta had tochange us to klm. Mae nobody wen de go born attempt wakanow o[/quote]

Hi dear please I have decided to settle for Grady hospital in atlanta travelling in april too but when I get there I will make enquiries about northside if the fee is reasonable I will change my mind and use them. Please this is my email address echioma85@gmail.com I will like to know more about the northside hospital because I may change my mind when I get there thanks. [ quote author=Iphie26 post=42343362]Just to give back to the house, I have decided to settle for Northside hospital in Atlanta after hopping from Houston to Tennessee .

For CS is $21,000 with 75% discount if you are paying immediately which brings it down to $5475, then you have to pre register online and could also make payment before you arrive the States . I intend paying via form A so as to benefit from the official rate . Was asked to call back next week when my details must have reflected in their account to get the bank details for wire transfer.

Also contacted Dr Andrews and she gave me a quote of $1900 for CS , lab work is $750.

I'm leaving in April, anyone going around that time using Northside?

Hi Slamex. Whatever hospital or doctor u are using it suggest u make up ur mind before leaving naija to avoid being turned down because you can't get an appointment.

I already shared Northside and doctors price here. Good luck.

Beautiful pple, una good evening oo. I'm one of those ones who fell into addiction to this thread. though seldom post comments, I always try to keep up with the gist on here. I've been seeing a lot of newbies asking for cheap and very cheap hospitals and doctors recommendations so I'm obliged to post this to remind us all that primarily our goal for embarking on this trip remains safe and top notch health care for momma and our unborn babies.
Some time towards the end of last year, my baby was on admission for an infection for about a week and most evenings during that week, I'd take him out for.some fresh air within the hospital premises. On one of such walks, I decided to take a break and let him just play around one of the parked cars and noticed a middle aged man on the phone. from the conversation I immediately gathered he was one of the consultants in the hospital liaising with another on how to proceed with a particular case. It sounded serious. So about 5 mins later, a young well dressed man came up to him and he happened to be the husband of the patient in question. To cut a long story short, the patient had just had her baby about 5 months ago in the US through a CS but obviously, she was suffering complications. They had just concluded extensive investigation and it turned out that there was a serious infection caused by a foreign body in her and she had been haemorrhaging badly. To cut a long story short, the Dr was basically informing the distraught husband that they had to go in again for another surgery immediately. I stood there, my curiosity getting the better part of me and not allowing me to excuse the men but in my defence, I was at the spot 1st. A part of me wanted to go up and say a word of prayer and encouragement to the man but the fact that i gathered the info by eavesdropping held me back. The guy finally left to go meet his wife (I presume ) and the Dr resumed his call to his colleague. It was at this point that he mentioned that indeed mistakes in medical practice were possible even In the so called developed countries as the woman had had her baby in the states. Hmmmn.
Now I don't know this guy from Adam neither do I know that it was a 'cheap' hospital or doctor that they used for birthing, (matter of fact the guy appeared very 'rich' and arrived in a very nice ride) neither do I know the wife's previous medical history. But the whole incident for me just reinforced the need to always remember that first thing first, it's all about the health care quality. All other things come next. I ended up offering a silent prayer in my heart for that family . So let's all check.check check. Read reviews, go with referrals, go with tested and trusted. Yes it's in all in our interests to continue to discover new affordable packages and places but we must do our due diligence in ascertaining the quality of their services. A 'cheap' package and easy POE alone are not enough to make a choice of hospital and doc.
2nd missionary journey was loading, had an August edd but angel baby tins...It is well. Congrats to all the new mums and dads and a very safe delivery to all still pushing. Cheers

Currently in NY , my flight was very smooth. Im so grateful to God. POE was ATL . I was only asked if i have contacted a doctor and how i intend to pay. The question even came after i have been stamped 6 months. He further asked why i allow my daughter who has a green card stay out of the US for too long.
Had a little issue with secondary inspection though ... they seized my 2 tubers of yam, indomie noodles and knorr chicken cubes. They warned me that i would be fined $300 the third time(this is the second time) i bring such items into the US. I will be very careful now.

Please beware of Zenith bank cards, I was charged N398+ per dollar today via pos. I'm so angry right now.

Hi all.
damsell, sorry about the angel baby. God will give you double by .
Lady G, yea after you buy your tickets, just log onto the airline's site yourself and with your ticket no or confirmation number you can access your info. At that point, you can edit the contact information...phone no(local and intl) as well as email address. Unfortunately wakanow and some other 9ja ticketting agents leave their own contact info on the passenger's contact, so whenever there is a change in the itinerary, the notification goes to them and we all know how that ends up.
Sorry about the change in yours. welcome back.
