Oh What A Life! Should I Sell My Virginity To Retain My Job?

good evening Nigerian's..

my heartfelt greetings goes to you guys once more as you this forum was instrumental to my getting a job last year August...

This is my story. I work for an auditing firm , name withheld by me. early this year I occasionally caught my boss staring at me provocatively I.e lustfully but I just took it as nothing serious because he has never made advances before to me.
Earlier this month, he started complimenting my looks and all, but I still not suspecting anything reciprocated by complimenting his good looks too..

As if that was not enough, he drew closer and tried to fumble my breast..this man in his mid fifties , had no shame when I politely told him that I was still a virgin and that he should stop..
He apologized and asked me out of his office..
About three days later, he sent for me and presented my termination letter. When I opened the letter, a tear dropped off my eyelids as I saw in block black and bold letters "TERMINATION OF APPOINTMENT DUE TO REDUNDANCY" . I stood there for close to five minutes not knowing what to say. After a while I managed to utter a thank you sir and left to pack all my belongings out of the company..
I went home to meet my sick mom(my father is late, I am an only child), when I saw her state I couldn't just bring it upon my self to tell her that I was just sacked..
right now, all the money I have been spending has gone to my mother's treatment..
even to eat now is a problem, right now having 1000 naira is like a million naira...
I have considered giving in but my vow to keep my virginity till marriage is still strong ( this virginity till marriage is a family thing. my mom, mom's mom and so on where Virgins)
so confused right now lord please help me, in your loving kindness touch the hearts of men to look upon your daughter who has chosen to live according to your ways amen...

Hold on dear, its all a test n I know these times can be difficult but I tell you will reap if u faint not. God would definitely meet ur needs cos He is aware of all. No chastisement seem to be joyous at the moment but afterwards it yeild a peaceable fruit of righteousness to them that are exercised thereby.

Stay blessed and remain rapturable

hmmm..
At least somebody reasonable has given me a chance to set my self straight...

I did my diplomat for 2years as a NCe student then applied for a bsc student in my third year ..
The university I.e unical accepted me as a direct entry student and after a year i came out with my bsc...

I decided against doing my msc full time because eng and lit isn't so business opportuned...

I now had admission to study econs in the same unical and since then i havent looked back at all...
I recently graduated with a 2"1 in econs which i can display for everyone to see..

One guy asked for evidence of my payslip and all..
I am ready to provide in other to clear my name...

I am just tired of the whole scenario dear...
Not everyone is dishonest

I have sent a mail to see the proofs.Yes, you are not under any obligation to do this ,but it will go a long way in laying to rest every shadow of doubt. However, pending the reply from you, I want to express my reservations about your claims here. If the NCE you mentioned is the one I know, then I will say that an NCE is obtained either in the College of Education after three years or through the National Teachers' Institute(NTI). An NCE student has an NCE certificate not a Diploma Certificate. Besides, if you gain admission into the University via Direct Entry for a four-year course with either NCE or Diploma ,then you will spend a minimum of six semesters(three years); starting from two hundred level. If it is a five-year course and you have NCE or Diploma you will spend a minimum of eight semesters(four years). Now for a holder of HND going for a five-year course via Direct Entry, you will spend a minimum of six semesters(three years);starting from three hundred level.Even for a four-year course, a Holder of HND will spend a minimum of four semesters(two years). Except you enrolled for a special top-up up programme(as a holder of HND which you are not) ,which UNICAL is not running, you will never graduate just after a year via a Direct Entry Admission into the University. How do I know this? I am a holder of ND,HND and B.ENG so I know all these.
Now, which field of study did you have your M.Sc in? Your admission for Economics, was it through Direct Entry via the previous Diploma or B.SC in English and International relations? Was it run concurrently with your M.Sc or after your M.Sc?
Again, I observed from your facebook account that you studied BioChemistry from UNICAL. Do you have a B.SC in three fields?

I learnt it the hard way, men feel insulted and deceived when you tell them that you are a virgin cuz for their mind they feel, mehn of all this girls av slept with, its not possible to find a virgin anywhere... Girls, its needless to tell any man that you are a virgin, u didn't preserve yourself for him but for one sweet, special man that will know and respect the fact that you are without you telling him... This kinda thing made me to stop looking up to man but God... Trust totally in God, nothing is impossible with Him. Thank God that your boss is not God.

It's not just him; we too want proof; what is wrong with posting the proof here on NL instead of asking for email of persons to send it? After all your post was hereon. I am interested to know why you claimed in an earlier post that you have a B.Sc in English & Literary Studies but in this post it is now 2.1 in Economics. When your attention was drawn that in earlier posts, you claimed that you studied E. & L. Studies & not economics you now said that was a diploma you took before gaining admission to read Economics. Is Diploma & B.Sc one and the same thing? You also claimed to have a MASTERS' DEGREE in earlier posts; when did you obtain this? From which School & what course & why did you not mention such an important qualification in this post since you are seeking help for a job? In earlier posts, you claimed to have been employed as a writer for the international football blog, Caughtoffside.com but resigned from that "job" for personal factors; what were those factors that made you resign that international job? Surely it couldn't be that the Editors or your employers were also demanding for your virginity since they are based in the UK & you were purportedly working out of Nigeria. Can you show us proof of the articles you wrote for Caughtoffside while in their employment or will they also only be sent to my Email? And I hope the very poor English you have been writing here is not what you were writing for Caughtoffside which happens to be one of my favorite blogs because I can't remember any of their writers with such quality of delivery
See Epistle...U get time,Loll

I'm beginning to suspect that you are the 50 year old boss in this story with all this your "danger mouse"
I left this thread long ago thinking that by the time I returned you would have come out to say you sent her your email requesting the proof she promised sending, but she failed to send it. Email address you no send, job you no give her, money you no give her, but you her here swearing for her and preventing others that want to help her from helping her. its like this her virginity is really paining you.
Send her your email first and see her proof before you start forming MFM pastor here.

MFM pastor ? where d furk did that come from ?

I'm beginning to suspect that you are working with pinkiecutie

I have told the pinkiecutie to post his/her number here so I can contact him or her and tell him/her how to send proof. if proof is good then I will show apology with 50,000 naira and I will employ her with good pay.

for now, may it never be well with pinkiecutie or whoever is behind that moniker till the day the cold hands of death strangles life out of the person, if this is another scam story which I can bet it is.

It's not really about being a virgin but about your liberty, your belief and self-worth.

Hold your peace, watch how the Lord will fight for you.

You might give in and he himself maybe out of that job if he's not the owner of the firm.

That's what the OP used and it worked for her.
that's what most politicians use to gain support from the masses.
you haven't applied them to your job hunt that's why no one is responding to your search.

try using any of them (ad populum and ad misericordiam ) and see how everyone will be longing and wanting to help you. smiley
it's simple philosophy wink

I am sorry i dont have any job for her but i can conveniently say that i have few connections i can link her to afterall i have nothing to gain or loose from such except if dont understand your motive behind what you have just typed.

Its so unfortunate that people arent as honest as possible anymore, same thing happen when a Nlander came online that he saw a physically challenged in abuja and some us with good heart volunteer to do something.......i am still willing to help irrespective where she is but i just want to be sure such that i dnt end up putting effort on internet scammers .

Wao wao wao; where is this coming from? Did I quote you? Did I mention you? Why jump to insult me. A dumb mugu nincompoop like you is insulting me that I am thinking with the sole of my feet? All because of the scam post by one young yahoo boy that the likes of you THINKING WITH YOUR BRAINS have fallen for? All because of an op who claims to have a B.Sc in Economics (Second class upper, no less). But in previous posts on this same Nairaland, this same op claimed to have B.Sc I English & Literary Studies, she claimed to have a Masters' Degree though yet to tell us in what field; she claims to have had previous employment as a writer with the popular U.K. Blog, Caughtoffside.com; the timeline of the events surrounding her alleged sexual harassment by her boss are totally false & she is yet to explain it despite posting over twenty replies so far. AND YOU IDIOT who does not think with the sole of your feet but claim to have a job to give an op you only became aware of on NL, I am correct to assume that all your cousins, nieces, nephews, kinsmen/women, church members, neighbors and ALL OTHERS YOU ACTUALLY KNOW are employed? I am not hating on anyone here at all. Whether scam or no scam, I suspect the reason this thread has generated so many comments is the fact that the word "virginity" is included and that it's a female-owned thread. I recently created a thread ( www.nairaland.com/2947205/nysc-ends-soon-brother), but till now I haven't had any comments-whether positive or negative. I have seen all the pages of this thread and I was able to see the many nairalanders offering to help (some going as far as sending PMs already) while my thread has generated over a hundred views without one single comment.
It's not late now anyway,I am still optimistic I will get positive comments there too..I know there are so many great men and women here (as evidenced by the huge number of positive comments on this thread).

After all who doesn't want to be in the good books of his or her boss..
On the 21st of Jan , he called me into his office and offered me a seat.
I sat innocently, and from there he started his talk about how hard working I was and all.
Remember Joseph, remember Jesus, remember the early saints who never sold their "birthright" all because of a morsel of meat, my sister the truth is that am jealous of you and i wish to be in your situation.
Its a cross, if you truly love the Lord Jesus, carry the cross with all joy and bear it, and a greater prize awaits you in the New Jerusalem the city of God. Pls dont err. Congrats dear. Reach me in my mail then by the Power of the Spirit, i'll send words of comfort to you through numerous bible verses in your case. Shalom

Justin you got mail..

as for my biochem, that was when I did my remedial...

let's talk away from here please
