Nigerians are addicted to anything foreign. Before this mexican, india ,Philippine series ...american series was the thing then. I remember how peeps were dulling themselves over Days of our lives, Another life, Sunset beach e.t.c local series like jaugua,ishawuru,papa ajasco,super story back then kept peeps on their toes. Abi na wrestling we wan talk? The moment they hear the bell ring kpagan!!!! Everybody don throwaway wetin them the do before.
Abi make we still talk about books? Mills and boons (live story for mathias) ,HINTS magazine ( nor even go there both men and women are guilty), harley chase(Na so dem d pressure me then say if u never read am I be novice).

When it comes to entertainment,there is no need dragging it to any angle because the male folks would kick against romance "they are allergic to it" the female folks would kick against "sports,games ,violent movies e.t.c" because its not their thing too....the kids say they want cartoon. Everybody with e own.....live and let live!
Whatever we entertain ourselves with ,can either be up building or destructive hence we should be selective and above all avoid addiction

Arrgh! My sister loves this channel, i hate it. The only movie i ever watched in telemundo was husband for hire(just partially). Love or romance movies aint my thing. Give me WALKING DEAD!!!!!! I'm addicted to it.

This is the question. Did the guy/lady that acted that perfect love scene in the play has a smooth relationship in the real world either? the answer to this question is enough for you to know that the perfect true love u see on screen is not applicable in real life.

To be candid i even dont like the film its very boring no action its all based on love and they talk, talk and talk. As in no Commando, Van derme, no jakckie chan, no jet lee pls, what pleasure does anyone derive from such film. mtchw

the topic should be be some of our ladies not our ladies cos i can say with all boldness telemundo is the only channel on my decoder i have never switched to. i am a very romantic lady and i read novels a lot. i can stay awake all night reading novels cos they interest me but telemundo never attracts me. some guys don't miss it. but me noooooooooo way

All I've been trying to tell you is that one stand to gain a lot from watching football, playing video games than watching telemundo.

Its all about knowledge.

That's the problem we're facing here. Why can't we live and let live. Why must we force our opinions on others? That you prefer to watch football and play video games, instead of some refreshing love storyline; does it mean that everyone should do same? I'm sure when you watch some telenovellas, u'ld advise your spouse to watch some of them, cos the ladies over there buy their spouses gifts, take them out, share bills, and carry themselves well. Now, that's a lot one stands to gain. It's all about knowledge.

Btw, I'm currently following Someone's Watching, Broken Angel and A Passion for Revenge and I'm loving it. Haters are gonna keep hating.

The noise that follows during that program eeee, e dey do me like say make I slap person.. You just can't sleep or read.. They shout, cry, wail and girls will just be misbehaving ..

Now, it's the era of Telemundo.. I just thank God my sister's craze was cured during Gardener's Daughter series as she knows I don't have such patience..

What about intelligence?. A religious epigone of the series would be functioning on an IQ somewhere between 70-90. That's like walking a fine line between being a human & being a mindless vegetable.

That is where the problem lies, after watching the fantasies in these movies, some of the female folks will start looking for a replica of the affection and tenderness in these movies, forgetting that they're just movies. And then all of a sudden, you all realize that Nigerian men are not capable of romance and "True Love". The Nigerian man suddenly becomes archaic and outdated on emotional matters just because Don Pedro serenaded Martha and you go "awww, that should be me". Y'all need to snap out of it, for those involved.
