The words "I love you" seems to be used to express how we feel towards another and even if many do not really understand the deep meaning,we have come to accept that as the usual way of expressing our feelings.

Do you know that at any point in time you can use a simple mind game using those same words to know your stands with your Bae(Before any other). HOW?

Very simple.

Have a habit of calling your bae at any time or day even when he or she least expects it and make sure you end your conversation with "I LOVE YOU" and observe how he or she responds.

1.If he or she replies with I LOVE YOU TOO then relax...you still have nothing to worry about.

2.If the reply is "Same here" then that person might just be shy or not really into you.

3.If the response is "I know" then begin to worry.

4.If the response is "Are you sure" then you just might need to work on your affection towards the person or the person is just being smart.

5.If the responds is something like "yeah.huh huh,ok and similar responses" Abeg no waste your time with such.

The bottom-line is that this mind game works very well and anytime your bae responds to the "i love you" words with any other response asides "i love you too" abeg no fool yourself...something might just be wrong somewhere.

I understand Tosin very well on this one, it's not just about saying 'I love you or not saying it' it's the response pattern, if one notices that pattern after four times, then it should be sending a message to the person involved, it's a bit psychological, sometimes it's harder to say the truth but easier to lie but it very difficult to repeat the same lie the same way and with the same confidence level. It could be babe what's up what are u doing right now? And u used to get just there on my bed, watching a movie or trying to make dinner and after some weeks or months into the relationship you now get ermmm nothing as an answer, you should observe if the pattern continues u should know something is wrong and it could be any of the two parties fault so u can check urself. I never say "I love you too" simply because of this lack of trust issues. Imagine a guy who doesn't show love on a normal day be telling me I love you on phone because he thinks i'm with another guy. Oyo for you! I'd simply reply with "thank you" and hang up. Practice it physically, don't test my love via the phone!

Nigerian youths been having a big problem with reading stories, explanations or points of view always expecting everything to be 'short and simple' it humors me as I see it everyday on this site, make it short naa, it's too long naa, no offence dear and when people fail english in exams or jamb, they blame the institution rather than look inward, a writer has to think and then pen down his thoughts here on threads on nairaland but I get surprised when I read the all too familiar, make it short na, summarize pls, what's all this epistles for na and so on ... It says a lot on our reading culture, no offence ella, u are like many others and had to make you a case study, you guys should learn to appreciate when a writer takes time out to think, reason then write it down for you all to read, enjoy, criticize and more
