obailala:Your points are clear, but the whole arguments would not have arisen if the Pastor VP didn't start playing unnecessary politics. Fashola acknowledged that GEJ's administration did a lot in terms of road construction, but in a bid to remind Nigerians how 'terrible' GEJ's administration was, the VP brought up the issue of new roads. I say it to you that it was a needless point he made. I can almost bet you that this same administration would exhaust their 4 years tenure without completing any new road. There are much fewer sites/locations that need new federal roads than roads that need rehabilitation. A sensible government will focus on the rehabilitation of the existing roads. I'm sure even the VP himself cannot name any route today that is in a greater need of a new federal road than for the repair of the existing one. |

Osibanjo as a pastor he claimed to be should not be lying in public. if i cannot remember one road, at least this Onitsha - Owerri road i plied everytime is one major federal road. Has Osinbanjo used that road before? Those of you making noise here should say i am lying. The road is in existence till date. You people should stop reasoning from your ANUS including the said AID abi na AIDS(HIV) |
| Re: Laolu Akande Asks Nigerians To Name Road Projects Completed In Last 10 Years by obailala(m): 7:54pm On Mar 01, 2016 |
Kennydoc:Point of correction firstly, the online reports about Fashola praising GEJ for constructing over 20,000km of roads is most likely a scam peddled only by an online tabloid (pointblanknews); not everything you read online is real cos I wonder how many kilometres of roads are in Nigeria for Fashola to claim that GEJ built 20,000km. ![]() Oh yes, mentioning the lack of new roads may have been a needless point considering that fixing old bad roads is more important, but the irrational, disjointed and pointless defences by GEJ's supporters successfully made an issue out of a non-issue. |

NewNigeriaMind:Below is the words of VP Osibanjo in quote as reported by the media. Osinbajo: GEJ, Yar’adua Didn’t Build A Single Road. The Cable. by Longeria ( m ): 8:17pm On Feb 26 Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo on Friday said that the federal government did not build “a single new road” in the last 10 years. According to VP, he is not even aware of the two aforementioned ex-presidents ever starting a road project construction in their tenures let alone their completion. |

I am pissed off with this thread. Even from Abakiliki - CrossRiver (Yahew eyana) i plied last December is in a good shape and it was done by GEJ. Please you people should go and tell Osibanjo to show working than all these blame games. A bad workman will always be complaining of how bad his tools are. VP SHOW WORKING PLEASE. WE HAVE HEARD ENOUGH OF THIS COMPLAIN. But i really need who will challenge me on this two Federal roads i mentioned. |

obailala:The non-issue was made to look like an issue, that's why the GEJ supporters made an issue out of it. The VP was trying to be clever by half and was trying to as usual blame the PDP. Rehabilitating already existing roads is more important than constructing new ones. |
