Good evening house, please which is the cheapest flight to take from Lagos to Nicosia and how much is it? |
Re: North Cyprus by wip7: 6:49pm On Mar 04, 2016 |
goodlife5659: Which country are you going? If your destination is North Cyprus then your airport will be Ercan...if is South Cyprus your airport will be Larnaca. Google flight comparing sites to know the cost which is base on your flight date/time. That way you will know the cheapest and how much you must pay. Or visit the airport to ask all the airlines flying to these locations. 1 Like |

Re: North Cyprus by wip7: 12:35pm On Mar 08, 2016 |
panazon: Normally, student/study visa is processed by the migration unit in Cyprus, not at the embassy. The concerned institution will have to apply on behalf of the student and process takes weeks (2-8 wks). However, your training is quite short. From my perspective, you may be issued visit visa by the Cyprus consulate in London and their processes for visit visa last within a week and your case will be much easier if you have valid residence permit in EU/UK country. Note that, with a valid residence permit from EU/Schengen countries other than the UK you can travel to Cyprus without a visa. I will suggest you contact the institution to know if they will be applying for you at the migration department in Cyprus or you have to get the visa yourself at one of their consulates. |

sharrp: They all standard universities having varying similarities and differences based on their strength and weakness. |
Re: North Cyprus by wip7: 6:05pm On Mar 11, 2016 |
eben1991:You can apply from March ending. 2. Masters with thesis or without thesis which of them can u advise?depends on which you want. With thesis gives you more research experience and some university only take master with thesis for Phd admission. 3. I graduated with a CGPA of 3.38, can i get 50% scholarship.Yes 4.is there a business someone can actually look at?yes you can buy house and rent it out or sell it later and some other things when you have your good cash. My experience in North Cyprus for less than a month has been good, i enjoy my lectures and i can say that i received the value of the tuition fee paid. Their education is far better than that of Nigeria. it has not being easy battling with the low value of Naira and the withdrawer limit of my debit cards, sometimes when i think about the exchange rate i feel very reluctant to buy so many things but now i have stopped that. I wanted to be scammed by my fellow Nigerian when searching for accommodation , the guy has a accumulated electric and water bill unpaid and wanted to receive money for the rent so that he can pay for his debt and park-out of the house. By God grace one of his friend called me secretly not to give him any money and revealed all his plans to me.i also feel sad when i see and hear about the actions of our Nigerian girls here. @ Mr Wip i plan to travel to turkey during summer so as so avoid the hash weather condition but someone told me that getting Turkish visa is easy but i can only be giving few weeks visa. i want to stay in turkey throughout the break. Thanks 2 Likes |

lexycool01: You can stay in Turkey in summer but where will you stay for 2 months? you have friends or family there? if not then you have to show proof that you can finance your hotel for these periods. |

Hi Wip 7, kindly enlighten me on getting a Turkish Business Visa. I had a single entry Schengen visa from Germany last month which had been utilised. I am also going Germany again in two months time and wants to reapply for Schengen visa but after the German trip, I need to go to Turkey for a business training on invitation from a coy in Turkey. Question is this: Do i need to go for an e-visa after getting the Schengen visa or i would apply for the interview route in Abuja? How long does it take to get either an e-visa or the normal Turkey embassy application at Abuja? I would appreciate your answers to plan ahead. |
Re: North Cyprus by wip7: 1:16pm On Mar 16, 2016 |
Omoakin1809: Hi, If you have valid Schengen Visa you can apply for e-visa online and visa will be delivered instantly. Or you can fly to Turkey (Istanbul. Ankara Airports) and obtain the e-visa via one of the visa kiosks/ATM at the arrival zone. You will need Visa/master card to use the visa kiosk. After applying for the visa on the machine, your paper visa will be issued to you and you can enjoy your trip for 30 days single entry per visa. No need to waste your time, resources and documentations (invitation letter, bank statements, your company docs) applying at the embassy if you possess valid Schengen visa and purpose of your trip is Business/Tourism. |

@ wip 7 I wish to further my masters in hospitality management in north cyprus. I am a polytechnic graduate with CGPA of 3.08 and I am also done with my postgraduate diploma in hospitality and tourism management. My question is 1. which of the school in north Cyprus can I apply to and what is your perspective regarding Grine American University in North Cyprus ? 2. what are the required documentary needed to process the admission? 3. what is the tuition fee and accommodation fee like? 4. how do I apply for north Cyprus visa? 5. do they grant scholarship for students? 6. is job available to support myself ? Thanks, anticipate your response. |
Re: North Cyprus by wip7: 7:48pm On Mar 18, 2016 |
Kezbaba: You should be able to apply to any of the universities since you have the PGD already. Without PDG EMU, BUN and METU will not admit you. GAU is not bad. 2. what are the required documentary needed to process the admission? Your transcript, certificates, international passport page, are the major documents you will need to apply to all the universities. However, an individual university may have an additional requirement. 3. what is the tuition fee and accommodation fee like? You have to find out about that on the website of the university you finally choose. 4. how do I apply for North Cyprus visa? You will apply for TRNC visa at the Turkish embassy located in Abuja, Nigeria if you are a Nigerian. You can visit the Turkish embassy website for further assistance on steps to follow after you have paid your initial tuition fees. 5. do they grant scholarship for students? Yes. Almost all the universities in TRNC have scholarship scheme, but the requirements differ from one university to the other. 6. is job available to support myself ? It is advisable you have your full tuition fees, accommodation and living expenses before you embark on this journey OR you have standby sponsor to fund your educational expenses. You may find job and you may not find or the ones you find may only pay your feeding....I don't have actual statistics regarding job availability. If you are ready to apply let me know after you have studied the universities websites. Best wishes! |

He has a degree in Linguistics, but wishes to do a postgraduate in either Business Administration/Management or hospitality, he has no PGD yet. @ Wip7, @ godsong, is there any school that can offer me admission for a PGD in either business administration/management or hospitality/tourism management, which will enable me proceed to Masters thereafter? Thank you |
Re: North Cyprus by wip7: 7:49pm On Mar 22, 2016 |
Henix: I seem not to understand your point exactly regarding postgraduate or master. Anyway, since you already have a bachelor degree, then you can apply for master directly for tourism management, you will not need to undertake postgraduate diploma training. If the department evaluates your application and finds that you will need to take some foundation/deficiency courses, such courses will be taken before you take your master courses. That's the educational format here. |

@Wip7, Thanks a lot for ur response. I will still mail u for other private matter, while waiting for the next month u mentioned earlier for application |
