I'm not a football fan but I settled for the match. I really got interested in the commentary. "The part I love most was when Egypt equalized. The commentator was like : they (super eagles) took the panadol, the lexotant and all the sleeping pills. They turned on the AC and slept in the defense." When a goal kick was awarded to Egypt lolz, hw was like "and a goal kick to Nigeria" When an Egyptian played a very high goal kick, he was like "ohhh! We would need the Egyptian Air ( ie Egypt air line) to get that. It was 2 mins to game time and he belike" 2 mins is a lot of time I football. But in basketball ball 2 mins is a whol lot of time. " So so funny he didn't know the names of all the players. So he rep them by country. I really enjoyed the match, I mean the COMMENTARY. It made my day especially as a non football fan. Big big LOLZZZZ. 12 Likes 1 Share |

princemi: I don't listen to Nigerian commentators. As a matter of fact, I prefer foreign commentators for even Nigerian matches. The way those guys (foreign commentators) draw facts and parallels with ease are amazing. Makes football watching interesting. 9 Likes 1 Share |

The commentary annoyed me more than the goal.I was unfortunate to hear the unprofessional commentary when power was restored, and I had to temporarily switched to TV for decoder to complete scanning. I really need a powerful UPS, My ear will never hear this type of commentary again.Lailai.I prefer to listen to music instead 2 Likes 1 Share |

Jarus: mhmmm. To tell you the truth, i start watching the t.v an hour before kick off in epl matches cos i gain alot from the commentators' wealth of knowledge... gosh! those guys are amazing, they could tell a clubs entire history, they could mention every member of both teams...why can't we have that in Nigeria? 2 Likes 1 Share |
