Morning house, I need help on this matter.

I got rejected on March 4th. I was actually going for a conference on church management which doesn't tally with my job description. I work as the General Manager in an Agro processing Company, Also, I have my own personal registered company but did not filled that in my DS form. My company is into Animal Husbandry, Livestock feed production.

I want to reapply now to go for a conference next month on Animal Agriculture. Wouldnt it raise a red flag if I filled in my job description that I am the Managing Director of .........company when I already filled in the last DS form that am the General Manager of ......... company??

It is not advisable to apply shortly after a refusal unless you are able to present significant new evidence or a change in status which addresses the previous grounds for a refusal. Your application was rejected in March and now you rushing back to tell another story at the embassy/consulate. My brother calm down. US can wait for a year or more if it's actually a genuine application. If you go back within the period of 6months to form general manager and ceo; that's a desperate move and the decision won't change.

ahahhahahahhah, the company I work for has 15 office staffs and 78 factory workers.

For mine, 5 office staffs including me, and 27 factory workers.

Do they ask that during interviews?

They can ask you anything at the embassy i.e something like ''do you have a boyfriend''

Genuinely don't really dig the difference between this post you put up on the 5th of April @about 10:56am and the one you put up yesterday the 18th of April! Were you acting your faith ahead of time or something? What exactly is amiss here? Heavily doubtful transcript this seems to be all the same. Is it that your interview finally came yesterday with another transcript but you are not accepting it and holding on to what your expected transcript should have been? Regard

NB: I'm also wondering why you cleared out all your previous posts.
@FrontPageLawyer, Chloe7 and LadyGuinivere amongst several others that did respond to @OmorodionOrhue previously (page 113 particularly) to please take note.

Goodday House,

I was really hoping to share my goodnews testimony but sadly it didn't go as planned.I came from the UAE last week as i work there and have my residence there,i actually wanted to apply from here but my wife has not gotten her residence yet, hence we had to apply from Nigeria. We were rejected today in Abuja by the guy at cubicle 8. I was very surprised because everything seems fine. Below is our transcript:

vo- good morning
me and my wife- morning
vo- why are you going to us
me- Miami Florida
vo- busy checking our passport. Have you been outside NIgeria?
me - Yes,I have been to Italy,South Africa,Kenya,Turkey and i work in the UAE
vo- what do you do in UAE?
me- I work as an administrative assistance
vo- how much do you earn
me- 380,000 naira
vo to my wife - Madam what do you do
my wife- I am a trader
vo- Have you travelled outside Nigeria?
my wife- Yes i have been to UAE and Ghana
vo- Can i have your old passport?
my wife- Passed it over
vo- DO YOU ALSO RESIDE IN THE UAE
my wife- I am a trader here in Nigeria
vo- How long have you been married?
Me- Four months now
vo- congratulations. started typing for few seconds and bam ! The denial paper.

I am not trying to shift blame on my wife but i have written what i think is the cause of the denial in capital letter. I believe she didn't hear the question very well but i was disappointed because i told her several times that,if you don't hear anything clearly, tell the vo to repeat the question. I wasn't convinced by her nervousness but its fine as i told her is nobody's fault, its just fate because she has been feeling so down.

I don't know what exactly could be the cause but in my own point of view,i think it has to do what i have stated above but if there could be any reason,i will appreciate your opinion and advice. Is it advisable to apply immediately? I think it will be wise to get her residence before we apply again because i just feel if am married and working in UAE,my wife ought to be there with me. Please what are your opinion and advice?
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 2 by LadyGuinivere: 1:34pm On Apr 19, 2016
^^^ sorry kdf.
Is it advisable to reapply immedately? No. Because there has been no change.
Does your wife reside in the UAE? : no she dosent because she does not have a permit so she was actually right in her answer.
You work in the uae and your wife is in Nigeria. Your 'ties' aren't specifically in either country. Likewise with your wife. She's a trader. Its not anything that she can't abandon. Your roots aren't firm in either country so to speak. In my opinion, the fact that u don't live in nigeria or work here shows you don't have much love for the country so can it be said you have ties here? Nope
When your wife has gotten a permit in the uae, both of you can apply from there.

Thanks alot. The reason i came to Nigeria to do it is because alot of Nigerians i know that applied in UAE were denied and they always say it is better and advisable to apply from home country. Don't you think it will appear like am looking for an easy root if we apply there after being denied here in Nigeria? What are your thoughts?

The decision was reached because you did not demonstrate to consular officer where you have your “strong” ties. Example is Presence of family and Community Engagement. You should reapply in UAE because that is where you have your employment and you are technically engaged with the community because you pay your taxes to the UAE Government and not Nigeria.

@KDF If I get my facts right you got in touch with this forum few weeks back and LadyG and myself told you specifically to wait till madam get her UAE residence before applying in either country and we concluded by telling you to apply in UAE with your wife when she has her UAE residence because that is where your ties are.

Yes but i know like three people that has good jobs and ties in the UAE but has been denied there and advised to go and apply from home country. One works with HSBC and his wife works with Etihad and so on.Some countries will tell you to apply from home country. I am thinking of getting her permit then we come back and try again from Nigeria because i am thinking it could be suspicious to go and reapply from UAE after being denied in your home country ( just my thoughts though ). What do you guys think?

@kdf respectfully...
Please learn to read and assimilate people's replies...
The question you are asking about 'easy roots and what people's thoughts are', if you read the answers already given, does it not answer that question?
Or the idea is to wear people down to agreeing with what u already want to do? As seye reminded you, the advice/opinion given before (by me at least) has not changed

The embassies do not care about your country of residence, but your residential permit to live and work legally in UAE. Consider that legal residency is defined by the laws of a country where a person resides, with respect to the country of the person's citizenship. What the visa officer is interested in is whether you have ties to UAE that will compel you to return back to same UAE after your temporary stay in the US. If you must demonstrate your intentions and ability to leave the US after your stay, then the embassy/consulate in UAE is the one with the experience in judging such claims, no matter what your citizenship is. You don't expect visa officers in Nigeria to know more about Etihad and HSBC better than their counterparts in UAE.

@FrontpageLawyer I think he was saying his friend and his wife working in those 2 institution over there were denied because they applied there as opposed to Nigeria, hope am right @kdf?

Did you people actually give the highlighted as a response to the Visa officers question of "why you are going to the United States?"...I hope it was a typo because that type of nervousness must have ruined a lot.
