Sir Peterichy, my simple and last advice concerning your post is to stop living in the past so as to focus on the present and see the beauty of the future. You can't get the best of yourself if you're still dwelling on what doesn't work for you. The test of strength of every humanity is not derived in a moment of comfort but derived where mission seems impossible and later accomplished with focus and determination attached. Remember, success or failure is only determined by where you stop not where you are coming from. So, don't stop now when the mission hasn't be accomplished (victory is in sight). In all, don't be a product of your past circumstances, rather be a product of your present decision and makes the best of it. Best of luck in every road you choose to travel in life.

Kindly inform us of your reasons for buying is it in anticipation of Q1 result or simply based on TA because i have noticed that whenever it dips below N1 it returns back. If my arithmetics serves me correctly at current price we are looking at over 40% PA

If Sanusi is not a corperate thief?

Why then did he give
BANKPHB,
AFRIBANK,
SPRINGBANK
UNIONBANK,
FINBANK,
OCEANIC
INTERCONTINENTAL,
WEMA and
UNITYBANK

Till September 30 2011 to recapitalization while on 5th Aug 2011 been a Saturday.

He and his crimminally inclined cohorts SUDDENLY nationalized AFRIBANK, SPRINGBANK and BANKPHB.

Funny enough their northern agenda UNITYBANK passed the so called STRESS TEST.

Well that river i ve crossed it and I'm better off today.

It's now a lesson for the newbies and intending foreign investors to know how crooked things are done in the Nigeria Stock Exchange. Period!

*ThE OcToPuS*

Sorry mate now you are acting delusional...(not meant as an insult). The C-in-C who is from the north was loaded on PHB.

I just hate it when people make bad investments and cannot admit they were wrong. Move on man!

@mfunkynation, thanks for the response. The way the price fell from #740 to current price coupled with the ridiculous offer price today against the bid price was worrisome...It looked to me like people wanted to dump the stock...which is why I am asking why?

Wema might be involved in a merger/acquisition soon if word on the street is anything to go by. The profile/status of the other party would determine if it's a win for Wema shareholders or not. So it's not a BUY recommendation at all.

One thing about you sir is that you always buy stocks at the lowest low and sell at the highest high. That's a very good talent and one really have to learned that from you. U mean N170 again? grin

I bought for between N19 and N22 in 1998 and 1999, and I am still holding on to mine.

That stock hasn't touched N1 since February even with earning season effect. The trend is not bullish but it might have bottomed at 70k.

Guess CBN is on their neck to make additional provisions on the loans to OANDO and their likes. They may end the year with a loss. Like one Oga said here, you dont delay a good result

Brent crude at $44.55 today despite the Doha meeting breakdown. May be why Oando reverses up again.

In that case the whole Board should just resign. There is absolutely no reason for them to continue to hold office.
