Relax, he was banned by antispambot. When this happens, the post is automatically hidden and the user banned for a specific time. Sometimes the flagged post is later unhidden and the user unban within few hours. However, notification of the ban and offence will be on the user's profile. I've got between 1 hrs to 72 hours or so like that before. Mostly whenever I shared links for free online football streaming during football tournaments or links for gre materials (in the past). I have got auto banned for posting my interview transcript, for saying "certificate", for posting smileys etc before. Sometimes the antispambot picks character string at random for ban.

No one knows your history maybe you were given a student visa or you are a 'guest worker' because you have not shared it with us to allow others learn you just drop in here to ask questions. DareFadi even answered you, oga what else do you want... I have a better idea take a flight to Indiana and a connecting flight to India... Journey mercies...

Have you tried Staten Island? Prices are moderate and most parts of it are decent but you always take bus to ferry to cross to Manhattan. The Bronx can be cheap too if you can endure living such environment.

I am not a student but I can give you some insight from experience. I live in west coast though but I have a lot of Nigerian Friends coming to West Coast for internship. I happened to interviewed a Nigerian, from Cali State Fresno few weeks ago for an Internship.
Here are couple of suggestions.
(1) Create a 1 page resume. Look for samples online.
(2) Create a cover letter- Look for samples online
(3) create a LinkedIn profile- Comprehensive profile and search for Internship.
(4) contact recruiters on LinkedIn- Send them your cover letter and resume
(5) Select the IT companies or companies that you will like to work with, apply though there website. For example my companies always post internship positions on ther career website. HP , Cisco, Sales force and other always have internship positions available
(6) You can look for the recruiters of your choice companies on LinkedIn
(7) Look out for companies coming to recruit in you schools
