My brother even the embassy website tells you if you have an existing visa on your old passport about to expire you should simply renew and present both passports and the nell be stamped as the visa despite being in an expired passport is still valid. Hence my premise and also from factual info that someone 4 months of passport validity was stamped into the us after gettindays before. A cousin of mine actually.

Please house, I have a friend whose visa was approved some time last month...he went to DHL to get his passport/visa and behold, he saw form 214B inside. He has a full GA and didn't submit any document at the embassy. He has emailed them but they are yet to reply or didn't reply. Does any one know how to go about this.

WOW , even with a FULL GA and a successful approval .

I guess that why some people are hesitant to post their transcript . You never know which NIV VO is lurking around . Although I dont know the reason for denial so till then the reason for denial is speculation . Or was the GA offer not stated on the i20 document ? but a missing information is different from rejecting based on to ties .

if it was me, if after a week or two i get no response via email , I would book another interview and go find out what the issue is or re present myself for another interview .

The GA was stated on the i20 and he came home that day with the white paper...the embassy replied and told him that visa denial is not permanent that he should reapply. I guess that's a generic mail. He has replied but then, he is still very confused and needs a possible reason

I really think your friend is being economical with the truth, I'm leaning toward him getting denied and lying about it... either that or his step mom is a Lieutenant general in the Nigerian Airforce, Benin Division. I pray it is the latter rather than the former

UTEP is ok. Though UTA is of a better standard. Admission rate is 99%. So they always admit. Tution is about 18,000$. But I will try TAMU if I were you. You authomatically qualify to pay instate tuition which is 7000$ and it's well ranked. But I'm terms of cost of living, Elpaso is very affordable.
just checked TAMU, they don't admit for Spring. Please which other schools can u suggest? Don't like the ones I've been seeing. What about TAMU Kingsville
