So after your case has been answered you deleted it? Sango will surely be your nemesis.

Lol. FAM. Why attack me? I didn't get a response from anyone so I felt my question was overlooked and decided to modify the post.
Was planning to ask again in the morning when the house was full.

Hi guys, I'm Chigozie and I'm already schooling here in the US but I'm quite in a dilemma. I just finished my third year and when the Fall semester starts in August I'll be in my final year. However I'm an orphan, lost the only parent I have and it's been hard to pay my tuition. I have a scholarship that covers half of the tuition but not all so I've been trying to find options. I work during normal semester and from there I pay bills like rent, food, & all those essentials. I've spoken to the intl. office but they are really tight on funds so they can't increase my scholarship at the moment. I currently have a back bill that needs to be paid before I can enroll for Fall.

Back to the main topic, I spoke with a female friend like me who's Nigerian whom I met through my flatmate and you guys won't believe what they told me. She said I would have to escort and it pays well she even introduced me to someone who says if I want to be an adult movie model then no problem. This my friend escort as well but I'm confused right now. Should I do it please? I just want others opinion. Thanks in advance guys x
Escort is same with prostitution. The main thing you do is chill with guys who goes out of town for work. Cops are always on those websites where people scout for escort. I can share a friends experience with you privately and you wouldnt want to toll that line. But if that's the last resort and you feel you can do it, just try to becareful.

I hope you are targeting other schools too . For undergrad there are loads of free tuition opportunities out there if your High school GPA is high and you have very high test scores . I know a couple , also check online , my sister is currently attending with tuition free and housing ...... Graduate opportunities are much less but undergrad has much more

Berea has a year size of 300 , that means it would be extremely competitive so dont put all your eggs in that basket .

Which are the couples u know? I am currently tasked in helping one good student to find tuition assisting uni. I am not very familiar with undergraduate stuffs

Am embarrassed as a fellow female you would want to stoop so low to be an escort(sleep with men). Have you tried applying or asking your international students office for severe economic hardship for F1 students? Apart from that, you can get other jobs on the side like Starbucks, fastfoods, etc.

Thank you for your answer. I am shocked she is considering this option. I don't think she knows what escorts is. Her friend is purely a wicked girl trying to lure her into bad life. Escort means prostitute. Simple! Moreso, this is illegal in US except in Nevada. She want to put hersef against the law.

To give you specify example …… Before you study for SAT you can aim for the scholarship you want and study hard to achieve it . For Howard University breaks it down for you , what you can get based on your scores . This applies to all applicants International or Home students .

Freshman Scholarship Program
PRESIDENTIAL :Criteria SAT=1500 – 1600 , GPA ≥ 3.75
Award: Tuition, Fees, Room, Board, $950 Book Voucher, & Laptop

FOUNDERS; Criteria: SAT=1400 - 1490 GPA ≥ 3.50
Award: Tuition, Fees, Room, Board & $500 Book Voucher

CAPSTONE Criteria:SAT (1200 – 1390) GPA (≥ 3.30). Award:
Tuition, Fees, Room

LEGACY
Criteria:SAT= 1170 - 1290 GPA ≥ 3.0
Award:
Tuition & Fees

*The SAT criteria used for scholarship eligibility is the combined score of the SAT Critical Reading and SAT Mathematics sections only, for a maximum score of 1600. The SAT Writing component is not calculated.

Lincoln university is another one and that is easier to enter than Howard

Hi guys make Una help me. For more than three weeks now I have been researching on decent school for my PhD degree in geophysics. I mean a school with full funding and graduate/teaching assistance. I would love university or technical university down south like Texas , Arizona, Louisiana , new mexico or California. I have university of new Orleans and new mexico tech on mind but I don't know if they offer scholarship for international students. My profile is bsc geophysics 3.3/5, MSC 4.04/5, GRE 301(qs 154, va 147).

Well, dickoflife no vex for deleting the earlier post.
This is the case. I have a tuition waiver at Cameron for undergrad studies Which bring all expenses to about 8k dollars(housing and feeding inclusive). But the thing is I plan to partially sponsor my self. I have another full tuition offer at a uni in Maryland that i an awaiting a decision on. But par venture it doesn't come through, Cameron would be the best option. I've paid for my visa appointment fee, but haven't booked a date or paid siwes fee because of this.
I definitely intend working on campus for 20 hours, and would also work underground(the craiglist typa jobs).
Would it be worth risking?

Haba put on spaghetti top with micro mini for ladies or jalabia or torn jeans and shirt with I support Isis or terrorist is my life slogan on it.
On a lighter note dress decently. A shirt with tie or suit or a complete decent native wear.

Scratch that , Best to abide with the laws regarding your visa ...10 dollars here and there should not become a major problem for you later on .

With 20hours a week you should be able to get up to 800 a month and over and during holidays at 40hours which would take care of housing and feeding . .....So if you get a job you will be more than OK , the only thing is you might not see on campus job or you might not see initially in the first semester (it really depends on the school opportunity ). Nobody can predict that so PLAN For a backup also just incase the oncampus job doesnt come in time

In summary if you have tuition free then yeah it a risk worth taking . It might be rough initially but it will be fine . Just be very prudent with what you have from day 1 . ..... It when you have no tuition off or half tuition then it becomes very difficult

Best of luck in what ever you decide .

But seriously, the USA universities are weird, I wrote gre scored 310 but anytime I wanted to apply to USa schools, the tuition fee is rattling as imagine a school like cool public flagship Ohio state University charging $16,000 a semester excluding stuff like student fees insurance and accommodation and most the nice flagships , getting GA is crazy, even if they discount 6,000 dollars ok and u wld have to pay it for 4 semesters. I jst switched to Germany straight and applied to their top schools, u guys are bold to apply to those schools

Your GRE score is competitive. Congrats. US Schools are expensive shall. But the truth is that US degree are respected all over world. Germany is very OK. Have you gotten any admit in Germany. And which of the schools did you apply?
