DareFadi:Thank you for the reply @Darefadi, sorry I meant upper week not next week. One more question. So that means once I am asked the question of "who is sponsoring you", I should tell them that the school is sponsoring me. Right? |

I haven't lived in New Jersey so its gonna be ''hearsay'' information I will give you. If you are considering NJIT, best to search on google the cost of living and possibly how to survive there. Yeah its expensive, I know someone going to NJ for masters but then she has a family there so accommodation taken care of. There are folks schooling in NJ, they dont have 2 heads. Everything is about planning. if lets say NJIT gives you full funding are you gonna abandon it cuz of cost of living? I mean you should have some money to sustain you on a full ride, that should be cool Fesobi92: |

Hello house, I've been a silent reader here for a while now. I'm applying for MS Chemical Engineering for Fall 2017 to Florida State University (FSU), Michigan Tech University and Texas Tech University. Anyone with any background info on any of these schools? Any other universities I should also consider based on experience. Thanks. |

harrycool:If you're looking for funding, don't waste your time applying to MTU MODIFIED MTU is stingy with fund. They don't fund international students especially engineering students during their first semester. I know good number of people that got into MTU without funding. |

DareFadi:Hello everyone, many thanks to our gurus in the house for all your insightful posts. Please what's your opinion on IGlobal University in Virginia? I got an offer for their MBA program without GRE/Toefl scores, and its the only school in the US that I applied to. Hope applying to only one school and not having GMAT/GRE/Toefl scores won't have any negative effect during my visa interview. Looking forward to your response, thanks a lot! shinym:Good Morning Sir, Hope you having a splendid weekend. Congrats on your admission. I'm of the opinion that any MBA program that doesn't not require GMAT is not a strong program. I have a strong feeling that the VO will ask for test scores when they hear that you are going for an MBA. Been an MBA grad, I will advise you to take GMAT and get into a better school that will offer you internship opportunities and one that has a strong alumni network. That been said, I'm in no position to tell you what to do with your life. I know that GMAT is hard but it better to do things right the first time. |

shumoh:The way people talk about full scholarship here ![]() Sir, GA is contingent upon the availability of funds and playing your cards well by applying to the right schools not forgetting your profile ( cgpa, test scores etc) |

shinym: mevisbleek:Thanks for helping me type this . You must have taken it from my head. LolAlso when it comes to MBA if you plan to get a good job in the US to gain some work experience then aim for good MBA programs. Its so competitive for jobs and its all about the school, the network and offcourse how u perform in the interview but a good school will coach you as well.... so my person its not how far but how well. Go take GMAT study very well for it and get into another school. But if u want to come back immediately and just spend dollars then yeah go for it but and even crossing that Vo that another topic |
