Oga, it's not your course of study, it's you. Course of study may help some people, but it doesn't stop anyone from achieving what he sets to achieve.

Dele Momodu studied Yoruba. He's now a successful journalist.

If you want to stay in your path, there are hundreds of successful microbiologists. The minimum is to continue studying to PhD and professorship and that's an achievement on its own. Lecturing, local and international researching.

And if you decide to try other fields, there are many bank and company EDs that studied microbiology, for example.

Critically speaking, there isn't much for us microbiologists in this country..
In the hospitals, a med lab scientist is preferred over a microbiologist
In the food industries, a food technologist is equally preferred

Teaching biology is the only field the society feels we are needed..

What do you mean by any hope?

How do you define success?

Why do you want me to tell you what I did to 'make' it as a microbiologist? Do you want to copy me or something?

Anyway, this is what I did.

Are you listening?

Okay. I joined PDP. Then I was opportune to meet Das.uki. End of story. I believe you know the rest. kiss

Wait a minute... Is that the EFCC coming?

Sorry. Bye for now. We'll talk later... tongue

I believe companies like Nestlé, UAC, Nigerian breweries, cadbury etc recruit microbiologists! You just gotta be up and doing and learn more about job opportunities in your field!!

Wish you the best!
