Well, I will say that I'm already used to disappointments and betrayal in life which has made me a better and stronger person.. I have been betrayed by countless times by male friends, girlfriends, family members and perhaps, those I thought would be the last people to betray me. Even here on Nairaland, I'm already used to the fact that some people unleash their hatred towards me by posting untrue and ridiculous stories just to defame me. Most people feel that silence is an admission of guilt without knowing that it's sometimes the best way to show maturity and make hater look frustrated.

Despite the fact that I accord both young and old with love and open arms according to my inbred manner, people often pay me back with betrayals and crucification and I begin to wonder if I'm the only one on earth to be treated that way.

The only thing that has been making be overcome life disappointments and tribulations is that, I have this natural spirit of perseverance, ability to overlook certain things, strive and inability to give up no matter the situation
tosyn10lists, how can anyone be mean to you shocked you are so adorable and one of my favorite virgins grin chop this kiss because for every 1 hater you have 10 lovers wink

When I'm sad I observe the feeling rather than covering it up. I just accept it as a natural part of me but I don't identify with the feeling, I let it pass.

When I feel sad I shove my earphones in my ears, crank my music up to an ungodly volume, and take a walk.

Whenever I'm sad, I feel really depressed as if the world's gonna end.

I always manage it by keeping to myself, like locking myself up for hours or days, watching comedies... Something that'll make me laugh and smile(natin romantic tho)
I also eat a lot. Gosh. Cos to me, food drowns all sorrows.

Finally, if you want me to recover, just provide your cheeks for two hot slaps. When I slap, all anger fades automatically. Weird.
@ the bolded, Yewandequeen

@ EroticAngelina,
On the bolded, I don't see it as weird. Just that it might be considered as an unconventional yet highly effective way of managing and dissipating of anger. tongue

Sorry but i hardly go into depression cos i'm already used to how life works and i knw how to manage and adjust to circumstances and make myself happy....

Now listen to this, happiness is earned..
it's you who chosed to be sad.
Sometimes circumstances beyond one's control could cause a person to be sad without him or her intentionally choosing to be so.
However, where one always has a choice is :
whether the person chooses to do nothing about it;
or,
whether the person chooses to do something that will move him up the emotional ladder to a clear state of happiness;
or,
whether the person chooses to do something that would make him or herself sink even lower, down the emotional ladder.
