Lyk seriously Did yhu marry/ do yhu wanna marry him coz of his beauty? Quite understandable, u nid to fall wt ur spouse over and over again but if his stature/ appearance goes wierd, U'll cheat on him?? And yur even proud of saying it... I dnt mean to insult yhu bt if yur in a relationship now, Ur bf shd be careful coz he'll soon be cheated on or heartbroken for whatever reason.

Interstingly, i just read what an American facebook acquintance of mine said on his wall about Trump projecting on Hillary.

According to him (and i am paraphrasing), projection is a phenomenon in psychology whereby a person attributes to another person other than himself traits, characters, criticisms, behaviours, fears etc, which he finds in himself but dislikes so much. He says this is a kind of defence mechanism.

Op, while reading your post, i can sense the same thing.

I think you have a body shape you are uncomfortable with (actually, this attitude of yours to yourself can be corrected) and you are afraid that your hubby would begin to cheat on you when you just put to bed for the first time. So you just want to start fighting before the fight, which may never come, starts. This is a classic case of you taking the war to the 'enemy' before it reaches your border.

I also believe that the issue here could be a case of you being angry about how the world works (which is no one's fault) that men are not as body conscious as women are and are not likely to be body shamed. You see this as an injustice to women, so you decided to forcefully try to make men feel the same pressure you feel. That's why you came up with this and ended it with "how a man looks also matter TOO (which means not only women should be put under body pressure)"

If i've been right all along, then i think what you should be doing is not to come up with this thread but to try to be more comfortable and confident in your own skin. You can go to seek professional help. You can go to Yaba left (not only MAD people are in Yaba left. People with behavioural and neurotic problems go there too), there are counselors and psychologists there. I am sure you will get some help.

Why don't you wait until you have found your ideal man. Mind you that you might scare him away by this high demand and expectations.
