Please, I am pleading on behalf of the girl that has been raped that justice be given. No amount that will be given to the girl in question to shut her up would be enough to pay for the emotional trauma she is going to go through all her life.
This case must not die down just like that. l want the Op and his friend to pay for this all their miserable life. If not people will continue with this act and still go free.
I want men to understand that giving a lady money does not automatically give you access to her body. No one forced you to dash money. If you know you can't give a lady money or gifts without expecting anything in return, please don't give at all. Not after willingly giving your money ,you turn around to force the lady to give you her body. That's Inhumane.
Where are the NGOs, Human right activists and other people that can take up this case. I am sure we have them here on Nairaland. please do something about this case

What is the average age group in Niaraland? Because some of the OPs and quoters here are mentally disturbed in their thoughts and actions... You witnessed a grotesque crime that happen and you ignored it knowing fully well you could have stopped it, what if the girl had died? A neighbour claimed he heard the noise and saw you and your rapist friend sexually abusing the girl .. What happen next both of you end up in jail for rape and murder. Am sorry you should be ashamed of yourself for even bringing this to this forum. If I was your brother I will beat the Stupid loyality crap to your friend out of you. This even makes me sick reading this.. I hope the girl have cultist friend to deal with both of you jerk-offs or she has a lawyer father or uncle in police then you will know crime doesn't pay

SmartChoices:

how is it greed? when a guy pretends he's loaded just to attract a female? is it by force?
did she open his purse to extract money? he spent out of freewill she should also be allowed to make her choice out of freewill please stop impugning things to the lady.....she's not at fault to trust a supposed friend! the trauma of rape is not something to be taken lightly!

Hmmmmmm fafafa fail, am a girl so as thus know d truth. D moment u know u want nothing to do with a guy den don't go accepting gifts from him. She accepted he's money, comfortably ate it, then foolishly went to he's house. She gave room for that to happen. Just as I am not in support of rape am also not in support of greed and stupidity. She got wat she asked for

exactly my point guy. I can't report my friend to the police but I really chastised him for his actions. The girl in question has even at some point tried to use my head.

She tried to use your head? Forget about reporting to the Police, the girl na correct manipulator and runs babe.
I dont support rape, but the girl got.what she deserved.

CrazyQuinn, yemsai.. ... what are your take on this.? .... .. .
I feel he shouldn't report, the guy erred as such should be consensual, but the lady goofed If she never bargained with the guy for a no sex relationship knowing fully well they were lovers. I feel the lady was just thinking she could play smart and use the guy's head by sucking him dry while being serviced by the other lover she has most definitely. Yorubas would say, whatever u won't eat, don't use your nose to smell it.. .. .

My day has been so messed up. I went to see a friend of mine in his house. I was surprised the door wasn't locked and even the gate wasn't locked. I decided to help myself to a drink from his bar as soon as I entered the living room. As I was about serving myself, something told me to check on him in his room to see if he's there. As I approached his room I started hearing sounds. I decided to know what the noise was all about without making a sound.

Only for me to see a girl begging my friend to please have mercy on her and my friend was telling her to shut-up and comply. He was even beating the girl and have even torn her clothes. The girl was weeping bitterly and after about 20mins I decided to pretend I was just coming in by calling his name.

You are an accomplice Mr. and not a witness as you made yourself believed. You could helped stopped the crime but you allowed it go and now came here to claim saint. You are a devil.

The girl was weeping bitterly and after about 20mins I decided to pretend I was just coming in by calling his name. He then told me to please wait for him in the living room. He joined me in the living room after about 10mins. I asked why he was breathing heavily and he told me that he just finished having sex with a girl. I confronted him with the truth and he opened up. He said he has been dating this girl for and that he has been spending money on her but she refused him sex. He said he used today's incident to recover all the money he has spent on her.

I'm really stuck between the devil and deep blue sea right now. The girl in question wants me to help report the issue to the police cos she's scared of being stigmatized. On the otherhand, the guy in question is my childhood friend. I can't imagine snitching on my homie and brother. I know it's wrong for him to have raped her but why would a girl be demanding for stuffs from a guy when she knows she's not willing to play ball.
What you should have done is stop your friend from raping her!. Plain and simple.

Op waited for 20 mind before calling his friend? He sure wanted the girl rapped. How can you see a rape happening and wait for rapist to finish before you ask what he was doing? Op, if that girl goess to the police, you would also be charged so better start praying .

Rapists die miserably. Rape is an abomination before God, gods and man. So those who rape, should expect violent end. No two ways about it

No normal human being will see a girl being raped and do nothing about it. Its just not normal. This is evil.

Regardless of the circumstance(s). It just doesn't make any sense. I honestly dunno how else to describe this act.

From the exchanges so far on this thread, I am forced to believe
that the OP is likely to be the rapist(or he participated in it) who
has been battling his conscience for the evil deed and only came
to Nairaland to seek justification for his evil by claiming the girl is
greedy.

All these st00pid and hungry girls be forming smart!

If you will not have sex then why depend on the guy to cater for you? This life is give and take. She can't tell me she didn't know what the guy wanted cos I'm dead sure he must have made signs. But she wanted to play sharp.

If someone is helping you in anyway and you know he/she will demand something from you that you can't give away then it's better and wiser to cut yourself off before it gets bad. But people are too greedy. They will want to keep eating and eating even when it's clear things may turn bad.

Abeg make we hear word! grin

From the Op's write-up, no crime whatsoever was committed here. I also noticed some of you here screaming NGOS and Human Rights activists should be contacted. Contacted over what? Was her hands or legs tied and taken to the guy's house? Why would she be collecting money and gifts if she knew she wasn't willing to return the favour? As for his friend, he committed no crime. He decided not to meddle in their business and the last time I checked that wasn't a crime under the Nigerian constitution.

I really doubt that people like this are remotely sane.

I don't believe that every moniker with an "f" attached is a female,
because I wrap my head around how a lady will be giving supporting
giving moral support to a rapist.

Most of the women on this thread are daft. How is gleefully wishing harm on another girl as in the bolded above, any different from what the OP did? If anything, it is much worse.

I think the victim(girl) should report to the police, the guy was wrong for beating and forcefully engaging in sex without his partner's consent, the girl too is at fault for milking the guy without giving anything back. So both is at fault.

The OP should have acted when he found out what was going on... now it's medicine after death. He could have stopped the incident from happening.

Anyway, since it's happened, the girl should report herself to the police or whoever. If they take up the case then the OP can act as witness for her if he likes.

Finally, the girl is foolish.... awnd for all girls out there that think anything comes for free, better learn something from this before you come and be telling us stories that touch the liver!
