Pleaee house am still awaiting responses to the above request. Help a mum in need☺☺ Thank you.
The question was if anyone has used odessa texas. If they have and aren't here anymore, they can't answer. If nobody can remember, they can't answer as well.
Your best bet is to use the search button, google search with refrence to nairaland or check the ist page for hospitals in odessa and start emailing/calling them

Morning all, please i have a question, when going for interview, do i still need to go with passport sized photograph. while filling the application i submitted my passport sized photograph online and it was accepted.
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 4 by YoungMetrosG(f): 11:15am On Sep 20, 2016
Hello Fatima. It would be best if you went online and searched for hospitals and doctors in Odessa. It's not a destination that's common as a destination for Nigerians so your own findings may be helpful. I'm guessing you're interested in that destination because you have hosts there. Ask them for suggestions and face Google for more info. Call and email the hospitals and doctors you find, get their costs, ask them about every associated cost and that way you'll have an idea about hidden charges etc.
As for flights, go to different airline websites, try WakaNow, travel beta, travel start, compare prices using your dates and you'll have a good idea what the average is and then you can make your decision. All the best

U don't need a UK transit visa if u don't have intension of going into d UK, and for the stops, chicago will be ur POE since that's the first stop in d US b4 u head to Atlanta.

bissiejoe:
Hello good people,
The cheapest airline I have seen from Lagos to Atlanta is 450k with BA. I have some few questions to ask.
1. Will there be need for a transit visa?
2. There are two stops on the inbound leg of the journey, London and then Chicago, will Chicago be the POE or the final destination Atlanta?
3 and for those who have used BA in the past, is it possible to fly at 33 weeks?
And please for those who didn't declare intention at embassy for child birth, please endeavor to write the letter of intent. I just watched an episode of UK border force series on YouTube and this episode features Nigeria. A pregnant woman was not allowed to board the flight with BA by one of the U.K. Embassy officials in Nigeria. The official called the us embassy and the us people said they were not aware of the birthing issue. The pregnant woman argued she's not traveling to uk but only stopping over, but the uk woman say no. After all this struggle to get visa and buy forex at high prices and also huge flight ticket prices. I felt for her

Oh OK. Thank you so much for the response. Really helpful

SlowlybtSurely:

You will have to use a dollar dominated debit/credit card.

When you pay for more than one month, a month's rent will be deducted from your account and the rest will be deducted at the expiration of your one month stay.

I haven't had any problems with the site, so i would say they are tested and trusted.

@ bissiejoe, I flew BA to the US in jan 2015 at 35 weeks plus. You do not need a transit visa. Chicago will be your POE. You will need a well detailed fit to fly from your doctor.
Hope this helps.
Thanks betty

People of God, una well done. My birthing trip to Chicago is almost set (Infact, totally set In Jesus name), but i still need tremendous assistance.. The ticket i got is to New York. The issue here is, i am having challenges booking a local flight from New York to Chicago. My people, who can guide me on how to go about this? i will be leaving in about two weeks. i believe booking ahead of time will be cheaper because i read somwhere here that Lady Ay, paid over $350 for a trip from New York to Chicago. That's way too much considering the price and how difficult it is to hustle dollars. Helpful suggestions please. my time is running out.... Thanks

Hello Bissiejoe. Thanks for the info. I use to be huge fan of UK Border Force series. Can you help with the season and episode of this particular storyline? Many thanks.

I think it's an old episode. I watched it in 2010. But still very sad outcome. They canceled her visa and that was it.

I also think you shd work on the cost of your trip. You can just tell d VO ur total budget so he/she won't feel dat d amount you stated ($5,900) is too small for child birth tinz.

check expedia.com. i have been checking constantly too hoping for reduction (price can be as low as 90+ and as high as what you stated). i figured that the price depends on time of day you need and if you choose to go for non-stop flight as some have 1 or 2 stops which makes your trip longer but possibly cheaper.

Thank you. But assuming he ask for my total amount what i have is to state $18k and above but he didnt ask. What he ask for was my medical bill not cost for the entire trip. Anyway, i have learn my lesson that Ghana VO dont know anything about childbirth.
