As one cannot book only infant ticket, how do u do dis? BA says infant can't travel solo so u must add adult to it. I got $1200 for both infant & adult, return ticket- does this mean baby's ticket wil be $120? Pls help explain. Thanks lots

wink wink wink cheesy wink

4- once you get a good combination, call the airline and tell them you want to add your baby to your ticket. If they ask for the itinerary, give them the dates you have searched. They should then give you a cost of 10% of that booking cost
After doing this my final ticket cost for baby was $91.66 and it was a non-refundable ticket but I didn't mind.
So far this worked for me on KLM and for another NL mum (who I shared the info with) traveling on BA.
I want to believe it should work for other airlines too.

@Nnystc, Nne you are a true definition of nwanne di na mba. Chukwu gozie gi oh. We are OK, counting down to coming home.

@XX01,you will need your reference number but I suppose your outward flight should be with American Airline, they are the ones you will call for the infant ticket not BA.

Nnystc's advice worked for me just as she explained, got $97.30 for my infant ticket with BA.

@LadyG,Nne hope you are OK ?

Yes they will ask for your booking ref.
XX01:
Thanks guys. My hospital refused to issue me a fit to fly as they had a policy. I had to collect it 5 days early so that I would still be within limit. Hope it flies sha.

@ Nnystc, thanks for the heads up. Will they ask for your booking reference before adding the baby?

Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 4 by Nnystc: 11:25pm On Oct 17, 2016
I'm assuming your ticket has been booked long ago. So just search for baby's ticket only. Search it out like an adult ticket because the baby's ticket is 10% of that ticket that you find. search for 1adult ticket only. Not 1 adult + 1 infant. Make sense?

Hello everyone, please I need some clarity on the steps to take when getting the consent form signed in the Lagos US embassy. Thanks.

Print the Form online, fill it but don't sign. Go with your Int'l passport as a means of identification. Just stroll into the embassy Mon-Fri before 12 noon. The process takes about 15-30mins (waiting time inclusive)

Yes. It only applies when DH is not present in the US as at the time of passport application.

Hi Shamecurls. Congrats on the birth of your LO. Just a quick question. I guess your visa renewal was through dropbox. Did it go through without being called to the Embassy for an interview. Again was your renewal in Lagos or Abuja? Thanks.

Renewal was thru dropbox and wasn't called for interview. Renewed in Lagos.

As for Abuja about 2yrs+ ago, I booked appointment but some pple said dey walked in(not sure if it's Abj or Lag)You can just book appointment to avoid stories especially if your location is far from the embassy, but if you stay close you can try walk in as well.
