grin grin grin cheesy cheesy cheesy

I said earlier, we should define the "THERE"

If it was what Bony and Ighalo were doing, Iheanacho was "THERE"

However, if it is what Messi and Suarez are doing, he is still far from them and he has a lot of work to do.

Meaning HE IS NOT THERE YET. grin

Who is using Bony and Ighalo as a yardstick?

I thought u guys said he should not be compared with Aguero, Messi or Ronaldo that he is in a class of his own. grin

Iheanacho is not a finished product. HE IS NOT THERE YET.

Midhat Bajric... Checked out his social media.. Kid identifies as Nigerian... It appears his mum not his Dad is Nigerian from the name. Anyway, It is good to see but hopefully he becomes a worthwhile talent.

We should be looking to give him a trial at the next screening of the under 17. Not wait till Germany comes for him.

By next U17 he would not be elligible. He ought to have been with this failed U17. We should consider him for 2019 U20. He would be 18 then.

We should praise Puel for another coach taking a team Puel took to fourth position to first. Puel finished fourth. As I said, giving team debut and academy work is not what Nacho needs. Nacho needs a coach who can teach him secrets of some of the best hitmen in the game.
Enough of this Guardola issue, pls let move forward

Do you have a problem comprehending simple english? THEY ARE NOT WORLD-CLASS. Go read that post again. Na wa....

So you wanna tell me it's by price now?? Is Renato Sanches World class?? Is Lucas Moura worldclass?? These players cost so much money......

What about Anthony Martial?? Huh??

See definition of worldclass ooo... Na wa.

In that case, Mangala should be world class abi??

This summer, Morata and Lukaku's combined transfer value is more than £120million. I don't think average players will cost that much in the transfer market.

The talk, Eto'o was talking about was about him staying at Barcelona. Guardiola did not talk about keeping him. This is recycled. We debated this before. You guys quit all this worship talk. On this thread, many said I am biased when it concerns Nacho. Now I am worshipping Guardiola.

I just say it as it is. No worshipping. Do you think a coach will start a player who has no idea about the tactics of the game? Na wa.

From the article, you can see Eto'o is a rude person. We only point at the coach. Ibrahimovic stoned a box at Guardiola. I think Eto'o insulted Guardiola while he was a player. If a player's attitude stinks, Guardiola is not their mothers to teach them manners.

One of the things we shouldn't do is to believe everything that is written in the press.

First of all Eto is not rude I can personally assure you. Players having a disagreement or expressing an opinion does not necessarily mean insurbordination to the a Manager.

There are managers that simply lack the human management skills and approach to meet each player at his point of need.

There are more arrogant, insensitive and biased managers than there are rude players. In the English game the larger majority of managers are far from educated, and are very parochial in thier thinking.

Are they average players?

Lukaku is one of the top strikers in the premiership and has been for the past 3/4 season, he is actually only 23 (true age). He cost Everton near £30 million.
What's is he worth now close to £45 million.

I got a lot of time for Lukaku another thing he is constantly improving.

Furthermore he is not playing with World class players around him. My honest objective opinion he is a lot better as a striker than Kelechi.

I am really questioning The Goodjoes, and his comments or implied suggestion that Lukaku is not World class.

I do feel an almost unhealthy obsession with Kelechi

Why is every one finding it so difficult to comprehend something so simple??

Did you see any one compare Lukaku and Kelechi....?? So why bring in Kelechi into your lukaku talks??

You keep talking about unhealthy obsession with Kelechi... I say you have an unhealthy obseesion with always trying to involve Kelechi in a discussion which is unconnected.

LUKAKU IS NOT WORLD CLASS. That was a stand-alone statement and a fact. Nothing to do with Kelechi. Haba!!!

You don't have to tell me I can't read before making your points. There's nothing to gain by being rude.

Tagging a player world class is a matter of opinion, because there's no laid down geometrics by football governing bodies to measure who and who is world class.
Bilic for example believes Lukaku is world class :http://www.google.com.ng/url?q=http://m.goal.com/s/en-ng/news/4071/premier-league/2016/10/30/29005922/unfortunately-he-always-does-that-against-us-bilic-hails&sa=U&ved=0ahUKEwiTyPmdtdLQAhXoh1QKHZDLCekQFggLMAA&usg=AFQjCNHvwxU26egSu3QeUWTZXCDl0m3dvQ

These guys you mentioned Renato Sanchez, Mangala, Martial, Lucas Moura earned their big money moves after posting world class performances for their teams.
If they haven't lived up to that tag, well that's not my fault.

I have seen Lukaku boss games and post world class performances. I think he has the record of the player with the most goals in the premiership over the last 3 seasons. I have it within my rights to tag him world class, I see nothing Kevin de Bryn have done which Lukaku haven't done, yet you have no qualms tagging De Bryn world class but Lukaku not world class.

I didn't see this before my last post. Truth is that guys on this thread view football from the rose tinted glasses of their favourite clubs. Trust me, if Lukaku was playing fro Man city and Kevin de Bryn was playing for Everton, they will label Lukaku world class and Kevin de Bryn not world class.

World class players refers to players of the very highest caliber mister. Players who you can call on anyday and they will almost always deliver.

Who is lukaku?? When you talk of the top 10 strikers/forwards in the world today you think Lukaku will be found there?? Na wa....

Dont do that abeg... WORLD CLASS IS NOT A MATTER OF OPINION. WORLD CLASS IS JUST WHAT IT IS.... "OF THE HIGHEST CALIBER" backed up with WORLD CLASS PERFORMNACES IN THE BIGGEST GAMES AND FOLLOWED UP WITH HIGH-CLASS ACHIEVEMENTS.

You dont go about calling every player world-class just because they posted "world class performances" in a couple of games or because they cost huge money from 40million and above..... You should know by now that pricing of players is all about marketability and "brand-structuring".

If I go by your definition of world class based on price-tag, then Mangala should be tagged world-class also.... Isnt it??

And if it's by posting "worldclass performances" in just a couple of games then there are a whole lotta players I will term world class naa.... Na wa ooo.

And talking about comprehension.... Yes, I had to ask that.

Ohhh it was so necessary because after telling you Lukaku is in the category of "near world class" and showing that we have below average, average, above average, potential WC, Near WC and WC (WORLD CLASS) players globally and even saying "Nope, he's not average but not world class either", you still come and ask if a player costing above 40 million is average....

Tell me what I was to think huh?? I already said he's not average and you showed you were blind to that comment by asking me if he's still average.....

So mister, it is not rudeness but me calling you to actually go take a look at what you blatantly missed. smiley

EXCLUSIVE: Ndidi Picks Leicester City Shirt
Number Following £15m Transfer From Genk

Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively report that
Wilfred Ndidi move to English Premier League side Leicester City from Genk of Belgium is done and dusted.

A fee of £15m payable in two different installment was agreed last night between Genk and Leicester City, before the Cup game against
Waasland-Beveren which the Nigerian scored in
his team 3-1 win.

The 19 year old has even picked up a shirt
number ahead of his impending arrival in
January, settling for the number 25 jersey, same
number he is wearing at his current team.

Ndidi who has 5 senior caps for Nigeria has grown in leaps and bounds since switching from central defence to defensive midfield at the start of last season.

He has grown into a mainstay of the first team at Genk, and even in the Nigeria national team. He has also added goals to his game with his goal against Club Brugge voted the best goal in
Belgium last season.

Lukaku have been consistent over the past 3 yearsnot a couple of games.
If I challenge you to name your top 10 strikers in Europe , that will open another debate, so I won't do that.
But I put it to you, you don't have to be top 10 to be considered world class.

It's just like when Universities are rated, any institution rated inside the top 100 is considered world class.
According to FIFA, there are more than 2 million professional footballers around the globe. Anyone of those players within the top 100 is world class if am to go with that logic.
If Lukaku does not make your top 50, then you're being totally unrealistic. In the Premiership alone, he is rated well inside the top 10 ,coming in at Number 8( in the best player category not even best striker) .

The "bolded" is your lame and cowardly attempt to discredit me but that's so not gonna work... smiley Thruout this thread my reputation is known. I dont argue much but when I take an argument super-seriously, you see me pouring facts down your throat till you say "no more... Enough is enough" Loolllll

I also take it that you've been blind to lot of facts I drop here when talking football huh? smiley After you'll start saying one is being rude but the fact is, "You must be blind" to have made that comment at the "bolded"...

You want facts?? You wanna see my best 10 strikers/forwards in Europe which extensively means in the world??

Loollll... I'm afraid I can't feed you with "my list".... You will say it's my opinion "as usual", "my gut feelings-laden list"... Looollll
*Besides Yara Yara and I dont wanna unveil our special players rankings meter just yet... And to you, not at all naa, why? coz you wont even regard it*

Lemme rather drop proof from a whole host of other sites all over the internet.......

I did my best to limit the rankings search to between 2014-2016 (Lukaku's most productive years). And yep... "Forwards" mean WFs, STs, SS, and hybrid AMFs. BUT "STRIKERS" mean "No.9" mostly and also include WFs. I hope you know these.... wink

I can go on and on but I think it's more than enough.

Throughout various authorities and respected stats/rankings soccer sites, No mention of Lukaku as world class or being in the top 10 or even Top 20 for the last three years and the present.

In finality, DO YOU KNOW HE DIDN'T EVEN MERIT/EARN/GET A PLACE IN THE GOAL 50 2016 won by Cristiano Ronaldo?? I can't recall all the players of Goal 50 of 2015 won by Lionel Messi but for 2016, the in-form Lukaku is not even there.

And in IBTimes' world best 50 for the last two years he's not even there..... I didnt even bother checking the IBtimes' 2014-15 list.

Mister..... You saw how I handled Forgiveness when he said nonsense about Solanke and Iheanacho comparison stats. That's just one example out of many. what is the meaning of that ignorant statement? That people don't use fake ages in the abroad abi kini?

Your own problem is bigger than Kelechi, funny how you claim you feel more Nigerian than English, but every time you make a comment here, you sound exactly like those whitewashed Africans in diaspora who think Africa is trash and Europe/Americas is heaven.

Stop trying to constantly throw jabs at our system and attack our players simply because they weren't 'fortunate' enough to be born in your perfect Europe or exist there, Africans who do such are worse than the white people who attack Africans

Sturridge is still considered world class by many, some people would even say Charlie Austin is world class, even Anichebe has posted some world class performances in a Sunderland jersey, if you play in the EPL, you're world class.

I've been watching Sir Komekn on this thread. He always subtly wanna knock down on our young players as "fake youngsters". Especially the classes of 2013 and 2015.

He's overly obsessed with it which is why he subtly picks on Nacho.

He didnt say a word for a while after I expounded a little a couple of pages back on the science behind the MRI left-wrist test... And what makes it super authentic. If I speak a bit more on it, I promise you all, this place will become a science thread for the next five pages.

I just dey observe everybody. It's okay... Make una continue.

what is the meaning of that ignorant statement? That people don't use fake ages in the abroad abi kini?

Your own problem is bigger than Kelechi, funny how you claim you feel more Nigerian than English, but every time you make a comment here, you sound exactly like those whitewashed Africans in diaspora who think Africa is trash and Europe/Americas is heaven.

Stop trying to constantly throw jabs at our system and attack our players simply because they weren't 'fortunate' enough to be born in your perfect Europe or exist there, Africans who do such are worse than the white people who attack Africans

I cannot believe I'm reading this crap. Looollll

Best players in the English league?? Like seriously?? I'm talking "BEST IN THE WORLD" mehn!!!!

I'M TALKING WORLD-CLASS HERE!!! HELLO!
Anybody home?! smiley

I hope you know these.... wink

Knock yourself out Mister Goldfish... Have fun reading.... smiley

Note: This list is not not even supposed to be here. It's about players valuation not "football stats" smiley But I put it because Lukaku shows up at least on this list... Loolll he's at no.18 not even top 10.

Note: IBtimes' World best 50 2016-17... No Lukaku. Lukaku did make CIES football observatory's list of top 25 strikers though but it's more about Valuation again.... And no top 10 placing. Not even top 20. Sorry sad

Note: CIES top 10 forwards rankings march 2015.

Note: Ibtimes' best world 50 2015-16

...........................

I really dont like talking too much or dragging arguments because you wanna stand your ground. When you see the truth, you bow to it and accept it. #Simple... smiley

That's how I drop mine. Before I say something so strong, just know that I've done my homework. Ciao.... smiley

P.S: And one more thing, You'll find Kevin de Bruyne on most of the lists above.... I also have CIES football observatory valuations list for 2016 right here. If you want it.. Just say "hey!" wink

Like I said, there's no laid down geometrics used to calculate who should be tagged world class.
The raft of links you posted supports my assertion.

Let me use the Ibtimes link you posted as a reference.
The Ibtimes rated Marco Reus top 30. This same guy have barely played football over the last few years due to injuries. He missed the world cup and Euros due to ill health. But in the best judgement of Ibtimes, they rated him well inside the top 30,ahead of Ozil.
Don't you see these things are subjective and a matter of personal opinion?

Until FIFA or UEFA introduces a matrix which will be used to calculate who and what makes a world class player, then you can run to town with your index on who is world class or close to world class.

Man United Defender Says Victor Moses Is
The Toughest Opponent He Has Faced

Manchester United defender Luke Shaw has
named Victor Moses as the toughest opponent of his career thus far.

Moses has enjoyed a renaissance of his Chelsea
career this season, having endured three spells
out on loan in recent seasons.

The Nigeria international has now cemented his
place in Antonio Conte’s starting XI, thriving in his new role as a right wing-back in a 3-4-3.

Indeed, Moses has featured in 12/13 Premier
League fixtures this term, netting three goals
despite his deeper starting position.

The 25-year-old has now been praised by Shaw,
when the United star was asked about the most
difficult opponent he has faced.

Recalling his experience against Moses while
playing for Southampton, Shaw told Tobiias:

“Moses was my toughest.

“The power and strength he had… he was so
direct and never gave me a second to breathe.

“I was pretty young, it was my first or second
season with Southampton. He was, when I look
back, my toughest game.”

Leicester City have agreed Wilfred Ndidi deal
Graeme Bailey @graemebailey

HITC Sport understands Foxes are confident
over work permit Leicester City have agreed a £15million deal with Belgian side Genk for their midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, HITC Sport understands.

The teenager only made his first-team debut for
Genk last year, originally at centre-half, but he
has emerged as a defensive midifelder in the past 12-months, although he can almost play
anywhere in defence or midfield.

Now the 19-year-old is set to become Leicester's first signing of 2017, as he will arrive at the King Power Stadium when the transfer window re-opens in the New Year, subject to a work permit.

Ndidi does not have an EU citizenship so would
not automatically qualify to play in England, but
given the deal is worth £15million there will be
little issue in him being granted access to play in the Premier League.

Ndidi is a full Nigerian international with two caps to his name, and he was also named in the
preliminary squad for their Olympics, but he did
not make the final cut.

Leicester have been looking for extra cover in
defensive midfield with the team still struggling to cope with the loss of N'Golo Kante - who left for Chelsea in the summer - and Claudio Ranieri
asked wanted another player capable of playing
that role.

Leicester are expected to announce the
conclusion of the deal in the coming days, but a
source close to the deal confirmed to HITC Sports:

"Everything is done, Genk are happy to have this finalised before Christmas - as are Leicester as there was some interest emanating from other English clubs."

HITC Sport understands that Championship
leaders Newcastle United did have a strong
interest in Ndidi, through chief scout Graham
Carr, but they did not see his value beyond
£10million.

You laboured in vain to prove that Lukaku isn't world class. Until you show me the matrix used to calculate who a world class player is, you haven't posted a superior argument.
FIFA for example have a laid down premtive calculator on how they arrive at teams monthly Coca-Cola rankings.
Now the question you haven't been able to answer is what is the geometric or premtive calculator used to calculate who a world class player is? How many goals and assists must a world class player make per season?
It's all subjective and a matter of personal opinion. If its not, then kindly post a link from UEFA, Caf, Concacaf or FIFA in how a world class player is calculated.

How Scouting Report Of Former Chelsea Star Babayaro Convinced Leicester City Boss Ranieri To Splash £15m On Ndidi

Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal that
former Chelsea ace Celestine Babayaro was the
brain behind Leicester City splurge on Nigerian
midfielder Wilfred Ndidi.

During the summer when the English champions lost N’golo Kante to Chelsea, Claudio Ranieri who is still very close to Babayaro after the pair first met at Chelsea, asked his former player to make a check on the Nigerian.

Babayaro who started his career in Belgium
contacted close friends who are still residing in
the country, and received glowing reports about
the 19 year old before traveling down to Belgium to scout Ndidi himself.

The former Chelsea star now turn scout watched Ndidi play five times in Belgium before compiling a report to his former boss on Ndidi, which prompted talks between Leicester City and Genk a month ago.

An agreement was struck yesterday for a fee in
the region of £15m for his transfer, which will be
made official in January when the transfer window reopens for players transfer.

Those links you posted were list of top 10,20 or 50 players in the opinion of the writter.
We are arguing who is a world class player and not who makes the top 10 players.
There is a distinct difference between "top 10" and "world class".
Even the journalists who compiled those lists you're running with won't say Lukaku isn't world class.

It's not everything that I feel reason to reply too or even give credence too by discussing it.

You have wrongly assumed my refusal to continue the discourse on MRI as being agreement with you.

The MRI is near 99% accurate where bone fusion has occurred, what it cannot do is give certainty on actual age. It can give an informed somewhat aggregate age range.

We all are anonymous to some but that's not excuse for bad behaviour and abusive language by some not exactly you.

I could say a lot more but I don't really see the need too. And yes you can say I have a professional interest in football that spans well over a decade, I am not a teenager.

Football is subjective and will remain largely about opinions. Opinions that will often be wrong, I remember when I first met Raheem, I actually did not believe he would make it, he was just too small, fast yes, but slight with a limited skill set. Well I was TOTALLY WRONG.

So please let's not get too emotive and absolutely no need for abuse.

Under no circumstances would I in the public domain particularly with my Caucasian peers ever bring up the issue of age cheating with regard to Africans.
