episode 9: calmness before the storm

I woke up the next day feeling elated, I went for the text , had lectures then came back to my room to rest.
around 5pm ,my thoughts drifted to what happened the first time I had s*x with toke, I really do not want such to happen again, ade had told me it's sugar and too much bear and the only solution is "iya sain"(the paraga woman).

After considering everything for a while, I decided to seek ade's help again, the previous evening while he was laughing at me he explained that what happeaned to me(blue balls) was not from the paraga, but from the aboki drug, he also warned me that I should not take the drug for toke , I might injure her, the only reason he took me to the aboki was because he taught the babe I wanted to have seX with was a champion, the Ibi lo ma ku si( na here you go die)kinda girls.
After coercing ade and begging him, he agreed to quickly take me to get the mixture,since I was paying for transport and drinks for both of us. it will only take us like 30 mins o or so to get there.

We took cab to the gate then bike to the joint, bought the mixture in white nyLon bags and decided to start sipping it on our way back to school , ade said it would take time before it works so I need to take it earlier.

As we were sipping, we gisted about girls who can kill you in bed.

ade : " you never jam those kain girls before"

me : " no o, the ones wey I jam, If i finish , dem sef done finish"

ade: " e get some kain girls wey be say if you jam dem, dem go collect ya soul join ya sperm" ( I laughed )" you think say I dey lie?"

me : " no na, na the way you talk am make me laugh"

ade: " those kain girls hen, no just go dey form Mr mighty, dem go turn you to Mario, Ibi lo ma kusi."

he jisted me about how a guy who took one gIrl to his house , he took that aboki drug and slept with the girl, hours later, the drug have left his system and the girl was still demanding more.
I asked him what now happened , he said "the next morning the girl call am say she dey come visit am again, the guy abandon him house run comot".

" i hope toke is not like that" I thought as we got back into school, the money I've used for mixture and drink is the money I wanted to use it eat, so I was now hungry by the time I got to my hostel. It was this hunger that drove me to go and look for toke early.

I got to thier hostel and she was around, the moment i pecked her she smelled the drink , I had forgotten to do the things that would have cleared the smell of the drink from my mouth.

toke: " you have gone to take beer" (she looked at her wrist watch to signify that's it's too early to drink na)

me: "at least you saw me yesterday, do I look like someone who can afford beer?"

the reason for asking was to see if I can lie that I did not drink anything, since I don't have the money to buy.

toke: " so who now bought beer for you?"

I thought fast, reason has been busted, their is no need to lie again, she is already sure that what she is smelling is beer, it's better to leave it at beer that to demote it to paraga, her reaction will be worse.
I formulated a lie, reminding her of the guy I took her to his room at staff quaters , he was the one who offered me a glass of beer and I drank it. She remembered the guy was drinking while we saw him afar and asked me if the guy is always drinking, I said yes!

With that solved came another issue, the more serious issue, something I should have taught about Tey Tey, I did not arrange for venue, it was rather too late now to do so and even if I try to do so, I don't have the cash. I resigned myself to another night of agro unfulfilled, KonjI encampisulation!

We gisted, me and mercy deliberately avoided each other and toke was trying to make us talk.

toke : " are you guys still fighting?" (she asked me and mercy)

me: " fight ke, I'm not fighting anybody na"

toke : " So why are you guys not talking"

me: "your talk alone is enough to last me 3 days without hearing anybody speak again " I taught but I said "mercy is my paDi na......."

mercy:" (cutting in)padi ko, padi ni"

me: ".....even though she is still acting as if she took heroine, one day one day, her brain go still Come down"

before she replied ,mercy asked one of the roomates she was helping to do her hair that " what is heroine" , that one told her is hard drugs.

Me :" you have snifed the thing again abi"

a roommate bust out laughing
mercy : "what is it you just said? it seems you have gone to take weed again abi?

I knew she will fight back, but that was hitting below the belt , knowing my history with that plant.

The roomate was still laughing, she found our sparing funny , but as mercy mentioned weed , she asked : does anti take weed?

"no way" shouted me and toke at the same time with toke given mercy the eye warning.

With that, I know our fight had ended , I told toke I was hungry and they dressed up while I waited outside, we went to the expensive restaurant and ate while mercy payed for everything.
I asked toke why she allowed mercy to pay, she said " what's there?, moreover she even wants to see you about something"

me " what does she want to see me on"

toke : " ill tell you when we are alone"

the word " alone" got my blood running, so I told her to tell mercy we are going somewhere. We discharged mercy, I and toke left the restaurant and we headed for my room, it was in my room, with two other guys(don't know where the rest went) that toke ask me

toke: " what are we doing here"

me : " I don't know, I just felt we should come here"

toke: "let's go somewhere else jare"

me : "okay "

we got downstairs , the night was still very young, no where we can go and do any smooching(that was my plan anyway ), "where do you wanna go." I asked her.

toke : " let's go to that your friends place"

me : " which friend"

toke : " the one in staff quaters "

me : " staff quarters?, let's not go their jare, the guy told me he wunt be around"

toke : " what happened , you did not pay for room?"

My jaw dropped, how did this girl know that one pays for room in that place. I did not know what to say, I was still dumbfounded when she started laughing after seeing how shocked I am.

toke laughing)" so you think I don't know about that room"

me " I....I.....I....i"

toke continued laughing at how I was acting , in my wildest dream I never taught she would know about that room in staff quaters, I thought the knowledge was for the big boys in school.

me after composing myself) " I'm sorry babe, I should not have taken you to that place"

toke: " anti, if I did not want to go there, I would not have followed you there"

me: " so you mean you know about that room even when I was pretending it's my friends room?

toke: " my class mate stayed in the next building, told me about that room since 100 level"

me " babe , we can't go there now, as you said , I've not booked space, I had no money to book space"

toke : " them let's go to a hotel "
