It isn't GEJ that brought you this mess. It is buhari. Stop lying like a hopeless soul. 2 years after, you are still blaming past administration. Didn't you tell us you will fix the country?

Shame on you and your demonic party

Keep blaming Buhari.

Contibye to fool yourself o. The coup didn't set Nigeria back? Who told you that nonsense lie?

LordofNairaland is very right. The coup was not the problem. We were already in crisis before the coup came.

Corruption can destroy the legitimacy of a government. The Shehu Shagari administration was written off as inept because of the magnitude of corruption in the administration, and its lack of policy direction .

Nigeria was badly shaken by the international economic crisis of the early 1980s. Shagari took several steps to try to strengthen the economy--cutting the budget, calling in the International Monetary Fund, and expelling 2,000,000 aliens in 1983. He won the bitterly contested presidential elections in 1983, but the state of the economy and corruption in his administration worsened,

So if buhari isn't guilty, why is he afraid of the protest?

It was GEJ that also increase kerosene to 400naira. It was GEJ that said DSS should oppress, gag and silence Nigerians. It was GEJ that said buhari should budget hundreds of millions every year for ask rock kitchen. It was GEJ that said buhari should allocate more money to aso rock clinic than what teaching hospitals receive. And after allocating senseless money to the clinic, how many times has buhari been treated in it?

Have you ever asked yourself why buhari couldn't get money to buy nomination form after collecting millions from Nigerian government as pension for up to 20years? It's because buhari is a poor economy manager. He couldn't manage his personal life and economy. And you expect him to manage economy of an entire country?

And last time I checked, it was amechi and the other governors that insisted GEJ should share the nation's money instead of saving it. The same corrupt amechi is being protected by buhari, the so called 'Mr integrity'

I have taken time to go through the messages posted here, sincerely, there is need for all Nigerians to come out openly and ask GEJ to forgive all we said about him. You see, today majority of us have found out that GEJ is a good man, he love this country not minding your religion (Christians and Muslims ).Yes, some of his ministers took adventage of this virtue to undermine his good thought and plans for this country. I stand to be corrected, he spent his time developing the North and building schools for them but there never see any good in this man. Am happy that we all are witnessing this hardship and frustration, intimidation and hunger. GEJ is a good man with a pure heart, if he contest again, I will vote for him again and again. HE IS A GOOD MAN, I LOVE YOU MY PRESIDENT.....

I don't need all this long stories on Nigeria politics..Mind you I don't have to be known by them, coz I expect nothing from them.

Have been up and doing since my teen days so I don't depend on government or families for provisions. You are using the right words for the wrong person..I NEVER voted for Buhari nor GEJ..

But from where I stand, I know GEJ and his armies are only doing a image laundry all thanks to Mr Buhari's cluelessness and directionless policies.. GEJ could tour all the whole of Europe for all we care, but he his NEVER coming back to that seat..He already got the popular mandate like no other in 2011 and blew it. 2019 won't be same for him. Nigerians are still with facts and figures.

Buhari's Cluelessness in HD is the factor making GEJ act like a hero.

By Nigerians you mean yourself right?

Buhari blew his goodwill in 1983. 30 years later and after so many inciting actions he became the president again. From all likelihood he'd still get re-elected in 2019.

Nigerians don't even know why they voted GEJ out. They wanted to try sth new, that backfired, and they're yearning for their fav toy.

Armed with so-called facts and figures about PMB in 2015, he still won. No one is sh** scared about your facts and figures. If GEJ gets that go order he will get re-elected. Those of you who are his mortal enemies can go f*** each other and be on the losing side. Who knows, you guys could be the all-new refreshed wailers.

Watch and wait. Don't be in a hurry to display your blind hate.

GEJ wrecked our economy and we are feeling the hardship now. Worst of all he wasted the highest windfall in the history of the country. The Ministers did not only take advantage of GEJ, GEJ helped them loot this country to it knees. If you want to vote for such gross wastage, you are free.

GEJ is not a good man. He is corrupt crook that worked hand in hand with his fellow crooks to wreck this country.

Please stay back in Anguilla or wherever you deem fit, we don't need you here.

That was said in anger and frustration at the crass ignorance and stupidity exhibited on this page. I love Nigeria and ever since I traced my citizenship (by descent) here, I have been over the moon. I think Buhari means well for the country. Goodluck and his cohorts destroyed this country by looting it dry. Recession had been announced as way back as early January, 2015 and the government of Jonathan was specifically warned as it had always been warned to tackle corruption and insurgency seriously. But what did they do? They sat down and shared money meant to fight Boko Haram. They also failed to save. Their intentions were to make sure Nigerians suffer recession because they were aware of its indications. Buhari is far better than Goodluck in terms of sincerity to alleviate the problems of this country, the major one and the cause of the others being CORRUPTION.

Compare Nigeria's privatization programs with China's commercialization program and you will understand why corruption is the reason why Nigeria will never have the right leaders to give us uninterrupted power supply that would more than encourage local and foreign investments.

I apologise for that harsh statement. Many people were fed up with Jonathan which was the reason they overwhelmingly voted for Buhari because they fully expected him to set things right, but what did we see? He appointed ministers with corruption charges hanging over their heads (took him 6 good months to do that by the way), he banned govt officials from traveling for medical treatment but where is he right now? In London receiving the best treatment the average Nigerian can never experience. The employment scandal at CBN was not addressed, the N-Power programme is yet to be implemented, and so much more.

To cut a long story short, Buhari has failed on all fronts. Jonathan was bad but Buhari is dismally worse, people have lost hope in his administration. Nigerians are fed up with deceitful leadership.

Stop talking like this. We were enjoying because Crude Oil was high. Not because the last administration were good. They were awful and wasted our resources.

We are suffering now because we are paying the price for the wastage. I believe the government can do more to change our plight but it can not happen if the youths are not productive.

I can accept criticising this administration because they can do more. However praising the last administration is criminal.
oga dont say we are paying the price for wastage, its obvious the man is clueless, if the past administration was still in charge I put it to u that things can never b like this, why must it be immediately he enter, why didn't it start with the administration you thought that caused it, yes we know their were many criminals, but even at that, they knew how they were managing it, there is no administration that doesn't have thieves, is it the clearing of corruption that will boost the economy? is their any nation that is not corrupt, but there economy keeps booming cos they know how to manage it. u don't keep dwelling in one thing and keep the masses in mess.
