My eyes danced happily as i stared at both my children.
I couldnt stop smiling. Finally, they were back together. After all the quarels and misunderstandings.

That was what true love was all about afterall. You agree, disagree, then agree again.

Hmm, i go love oo.

And so when the broke the news about Kainene's pregnancy, words couldnt express my joy. We had to hasten up the wedding. I couldnt wait to have Nene as my daughter-inlaw.

I spoke to some wedding planners that happened to be acquaintances with me. And together we began to make preparations.

'daddy? Daddy?' i called looking around the garden.

'my princess' my father's familiar baritone voice said. I turned and saw him. He was dressed in white with a staff in his hands.

'no daddy. I dont want to go back to that man. He lied to me. He's impotent dad' i wept.

'how do you expect me to stand by him father when he's been doing nothing but lie to me. No father, i'm not going back to him. I want to come to you. I want to be able to touch you father. You're the only who truly loved me father. I was your princess and your favourite before you were snatched by the cold hands of death. Now i've seen you and i'm not going anywhere. 'but thats not possible Princess. I am dead. And you're still living. Your time has not yet come. You still have your whole life ahead of you. You have so many things to achieve that you've not as at now. Besides, there's a new life inside of you, are you ready to terminate the life of your child and yours when you still have enough things to do?'

I looked down 'daddy...'

'go back my dear. When your time comes, you'll come to me. But for now, you cant come. Goodbye Princess' And he started to walk away.

'daddy! Daddy wait!' i shouted. I tried to meet up with him but i kept getting blocked by some invincible barrier 'Daddy nooooo!'

I screamed and woke up immediately.

I saw my mum, Bidemi, Folake and Kelvin by my side.

Immediately i started crying.

I wanted to die. Nothing was worth living for anymore. I just wanted to end it all...

'i'm sorry ma, but you cant just come here and insult me. I said my boss is not in. Why would i want to lie to you? You might have called him five minutes ago but i'm telling you now that he left the office three minutes ago. Two minutes is enough time to decided to leave isnt it?'

'listen and listen very good, if you dont want to see another side of me that you might regret, go inside and tell your boss that i'm here to see him. I didnt come here to banter words with scarecrows like you'

She stood up from her seat 'i'm afraid but you would have to leave right now. I will not tolerate you insulting me in my workplace. If you dont leave, then i'll be forced to call the securities'

''whats happening here?' Nathan came in.

I sighed in relief 'thank God you're here sweetie. Can you believe that i was actually telling this scarecrow of a PA that i wanted to see you and she said you werent around, and that i should go and come back later? Can you also believe that she threatened to call the securities on me if i dont leave the office?'

Nathan's eyes settled on her 'Myra, is that true?'

'uh, eh..i...' she started stuttering 'i...i thought you...uh didnt want to see...any...anyone'

'didnt i specifically tell you that i was expecting my fiancee?' he moved closer now and i saw her move back in fear 'didnt i tell you to let her in whenever she comes huh?'

I stared at Dr Bolaide, my bosom friend.
I couldnt utter a word. I couldnt believe that things could have grown worse.

I could die. I still had so many things to do. So many.

I left the doctor's office with a heavy heart. I was going to die soon. He said in probably a month or two.

I knew i was going to die but i had very little to do to save myself.

After contemplating for a while, i decided to buzz Chidinma. I just wanted to know how she was faring.

'hello?' her voice came.

I heard her smile 'oh! You dont know how much i've longed of this kind of a relationship between us. Funny enough though, but i've always wanted us to be close. 'eh-hen? So it has gotten to that abi?' I watched this girl for a while thinking of where to start targetting her.

Kaka was inside taking a nap and a simple call of her name would have her running out and teaching this psycho a serious lesson she would never regret in a long while.

But i chose to handle her myself.

'so you want to fight eh?' i asked.

'yes. Lets fight this out anyway. Who do you think you are sef? You think you deserve my boss in anyway? Hell you dont! You're just a foolish golddigger who would do nothing but tie him down with your useless pregnancy!'

'how dare you?!' i smacked her twice.

She rushed towards me and i quickly swept her off her feet landing her on the floor. And before Jack Robinson was spelt, i was atop her feeding her with sand.

Her screams filled the compound as she pinched my face.

Though i was hurting all over, it didnt stop me from giving her the beating of her life.
