yes we do, from the evidence of the Big Bang we can deduce that the initial singularity (time, space and matter) started after the Big Bang before, since something cant come from nothing, it means the cause of the Big Bang is something, now if it is something what would it be? if our universe (time space and matter) began at some point, this means the cause of the universe by necessity will be timeless, spaceless and matterless hence supernatural, but not just supernatural powerful as well powerful and a creative force that fits the definition of God, there are other logical evidences supporting Intelligent creator, deism 101

i tend to disagree just a lil bit... not all deists believe in the existence of a God that doesnt interfere in human things... the idea of a God that doesn't doesn't interfere in human affairs was born out of the conclusion that an omnipotent omnipresent creator would not want to allow suffering, evil etc exist in the world but the universe was clearly evident to have been created... hence the conclusion that God doesn't interfere... but some other deists believe things like evil, war etc were caused by man and its our duty to stop it... they believe if there is all good, we would not learn how to do good and we won't know the value of certain things... just as its only someone in Nigeria that will understand the value of NEPA... so these people believe the universe is our training ground and we are to solve these problems by one means... which is love.. there are also spiritual deists.. i agree to an extent with the deists who believe its our mission and duty to stop evil and also to an extent with spiritual deists... i agree with spiritual deists in the sense that humans are really disconnected from the spiritual... since you're an atheist.. lets just for reference sake, assume that the spiritual plane does exist... people of old were more spiritual than us not really because they had less knowledge of the universe, but because they focused more on spirituality than on science.. yes I'll agree a few went over the line by thinking the moon was a god or that some sicknesses were signs that some gods were angry with them.. but looking deeper I've seen that they were more interested in spirituality than in science... that's why alchemy(basis of chemistry) had roots in dark arts.. they (although not all) kept themselves spiritually inclined... also the reasons why Christians can't raise the dead,etc is because we're not spiritual... forget that hoo haa they do in churches.. even o.aroloye nd few other Christians here agree that what they do in churches isn't what is meant to develop us spiritually

spirituality isn't shouting die by fire bro.. sarasin once told me that selfless love was a path to the divine.. apart from people engaging in dark arts, i saw the truth in what he said.. i now understand why mothers tend to be more spiritual.. cuz they practice more of selfless love.. my point is... its not that God z not interfering in human affairs... its the connection we've lost.. prayer isn't communication with God.. prayer is a one way thing cuz we do all the talking... if it were communication, we'd be doing more of listening... so personally, i feel its humans that need to re establish that connection with the spiritual... but this is my own personal opinion tho gotten from my observation... its just my personal opinion
