Please I need to know if I can authenticate and legalize my documents at ministry of Education and ministry of foreign affairs without a notary public signing them.

I am trying to cut costs.

Also what is the cost for the authentication at ministry of Education and legalization at ministry of foreign affairs.

I would very much appreciate any useful information. Thanks.

Dear Sir,
99.9% of documents legalised and authenticated at MOE and MFA are notary public signing free. So,kindly save ur money by nt troubling urself. Notarized ur certs
As as last week,u authenticate at MOE wit 300naira per page and 1000naira bt I knw of some guys who can do it below 1k per page at MOFA.
Note:U wil surely incur some miscellaneous expenses at MOE so dnt stop ur calculatn on 300 naira only.

Oh, dear friend, you do a great job indeed.
How do I go about it? Do you then give me the contacts?
I want to certify my WAEC Certificate, University transcripts, University statement of result and affidavits of name change.
I have not gotten my university original certificate.
So how do I proceed.

Thank you for the good work you're doing here. I would be glad if someone can give me a clue on how to get this done. I need to get the photocopy of the biodata page of my spouse's passport legalized. My brother took the passport and its photocopy alongside other documents that are to be legalized. However, he was told at the ministry of foreign affairs that he should get the photocopy of biodata page of passport stamped/authenticated by Nigerian immigration service. So we asked people working at immigration at Awka but they don't have an idea of how to do this. I would be glad if someone can point me in the right direction on how to get this down, where, how long it takes and how much. Thanks in advance.

Yes, Gwowaga. That's my line of thought too, because the ministry of foreign affairs said they need immigration stamp before they can authenticate it. But the guy at immigration Awka doesn't seem to know what to do. I am wondering if someone knows where and how to get immigration to stamp it.

Ok, in that case, I will try Lagos or Abuja. I will go there in person with the documents requiring the authenticated copy of the biodata page.

Hi,

I will be glad if anyone can help me. I am applying to the University of Basel Switzerland and I have stamped copies of my document by a notary public. do I need to take it to the ministry of foreign affairs again? It says in their requirements that " an official person/body authorised in the country of origin to authenticate copies provided the signature is re-authenticated by the foreign ministry of the relevant country"
