My girl will not buy Xiaomi.
The economy has been very bastardadized.
There is No 2GB Ram phone in Nigeria asides Itel and Injoo that sells below 35k.

If I were truly paid as some of you believe. I will convince her to go for 1GB raum W series.

But I was actually willing to try something new for a change.

Xiaomi was my product of choice for her.

But now, I would rather her join my hard earned 25k and get her L9 plus....or,
Go for other nice and cheaper brands I saw on Aliexpress.....that's if she can wait though.

Don't come and cry later o. If u buy something like elephone, you are on your own

I didn't know what motherhood entailed till I became one.
Instinctively, I started helping anyone I suspected was a mother. As in, I go extra miles. I have deep love and appreciation for them. And I am thankful that during my days of active Sisi, I did not disrespect or insult any of them.
I'm not ashamed of how I look now.
Else, I would not even post my pictures publicly. But I want my girl to know that no matter how I look, I am happy that she is in my life and I am ready to look even worstest if it will make her healthier, happier and an all round fulfilled person.
God has blessed me greatly and I am happy for it. I wish everyone this kind of blessing.
But whoever chooses to act otherwise is on their own smiley

If Xiaomi were to open shop in Nigeria and employ thousands of people like Tecno has, and do adverts like Tecno does, and pay Custom and excise duties like Tecno does, do you think that phone will still be 60k? Especially with the economic downturn we're experiencing.
You called it 60k based on how much access and Gt charges you.

Why not do the maths with 420 naira black market price.
Because here in Nigeria, that's how we roll.

It's not a Tecno problem. It's a NIgerian problem.
If Xiaomi enters Nigeria today, things will be different!
I guess the reason they don't want to come yet is because they can't stand the NIgerian business climate.
Look at Gionee, Infinix, Tecno...their prices are somewhat exorbitant when compared to what we have in other countries. There is one I heard lately that is making me very sad at Tecno.

But this is why threads like this are necessary. So they can sit up.
If Tecno folds up today....your relatives may be affected, mine may be affected as well.
Because they have really employed Labour, both directly and indirectly.

I am not claiming that Tecno is better than Xiaomi or Samsung or any other smartie device out there.

But one reason I will always support them even if I relocate to Alaska tomorrow is that I know where they were. I can see where they are now. I have an idea of where they are going.

That is enough for me. Come what may.

Sometimes u need to slap yourself to wake up from slumber. Our grievience with them is simple.
1) Stop producing craps,
2) Stop lieing.
3) Stop being greedy (we made dem where dey are today)
4) Stop giving out bullshit as customer care.
5) Employ people wey sabi, not all those grammarian
5) Stop cheating Nigerians
All ur assumptions above are nt valid, because Xiaomi does their home work well and thoroughly.
I have no sympathy for any crap company, my life is simple,
I get real value for my money. When u contribute to tecno, what's ur gain? What tangible thing have they done for Nigerians? Tecno and Co that can't operate in developed country and Xiaomi is doing it fine. They are currently the most preferred brand in India despite not being an indigenous company. Do the maths, it seems u get too much to waste and yet u said economy hard. Are u for real?

Ermm? This line don too plenty, more like copied from the mouths of Nigerian politicians. You hear words like ' this project will create 50, 000 jobs', whereas na only like 1,200 jobs with people being paid #25,000. Now my question is, how many people has Tecno employed and how much are they being paid on the average? undecided
