Years ago I'd have vehemently countered your assertion but I once had a thing going with a girl whose idea of going on a date included lying down face up on a basketball court on a starry night star-gazing with fizzy drinks and snacks - a picnic of some sort - and it was fun. So, yes, I agree you'd kiss your man and have steamy sex when he presents you with flowers. Some (comparatively few) women still love and appreciate those seemingly little, mushy romantic gestures.
