We should be civilised people. Break up does not have to be bad blood. Britain just left the EU. The EU are not happy but they are still willing to work with Britain.

Biafra and Nigeria can still do a lot mutually beneficial things, just not as one nation.

Mutually beneficial things with the zoo? Lol. Anyway, I hope Yoruba people wont do sophistication this time by allowing some people stay, once the country breaks then everyone should go back to his country. Make everybody bear him papa name.

If you take Britain that just left the EU, over 3 million EU citizens in the UK. Will Britain deport them? No, not really.

In the event of Biafra seceding from Nigeria, both sides will have to discuss the sharing of assets, liabilities and debts. This means that there will be a discussion on 'Biafra/Nigeria' reltionship and the status of its citizens. A 'transition period' will have to be agreed on to allow the agreemwnts take effect

It is not likely that Nigeria will start deporting all Igbos straightaway as this could illegal under international law. Another reason why Nigeria wont do this is because it will damage Nigeria and the Nigerian economy irreparably before the international community. No international investor will ever step foot in Nigeria ever again when hear that Nigeria deported millions of people it once called brothers.

Such mass deportations only destroys the credibility of a country

Do you guys now realize that the only way you'll most likely get this Biafra is on the battle field? You guys are so dense. You want to dictate when you leave, how you leave, what you leave with, but you want the stronger, bigger Nigeria to just acquiesce without contesting a thing?

I bet if you decide to take ONLY the 5 core ibo states Nigeria won't have a problem. But you're busy trying to encroach and claim disputable territories which you clearly don't even have a right to.

Well, good luck.

Thank God you don't have the clout U S have. You are at best one hellhole that can't even threaten neighboring Benin Republic with any sort of embargo.

Nigeria is still receiving free money and grants from UK, EU, US, Canada and you are here making mouth.

Nonsense. Why don't you leave London and come and settle in your land of sand and flies.

So Nigeria doesn't have the clout U.S has but the majority of Ndigbo are trading all over the country (including the " land of sand & flies" ) ?

This one is already frustrated by the reality check.

Don't worry you can send all those spare parts to Togo and Benin, you won't miss us one bit wink

Pssh Nigeria na country before? Nyggah please! Please by all means let the deportation begin already, if its the USA,England, France and other top European countries deporting Igbos en masse then I will be very worried...heck even better countries like Ghana, Botswana, Ivory coast, Senegal etc.. will gladly open their borders for Igbo business genius to thrive and help informally with their economies, who made Nollywood what is is today? Igbos of course...the fact that foreigners all over the world watch Nollywood is because of the likes of Osuofia, Mr Ibu, Pete Edochie, and loads of stars that give Nigeria some image of respect through entertainment...we will pack our Nollywood and give it a brand new image in Biafra, create a revenue to make it a part of our GDP, a Biafran football team will have no issues thrashing a weak Nigerian team consisting of aboki's, yorubas, and other unforrunate minorities(except we dash una Ihenacho, Iwobi, Ndidi, Onyekuru etc), is it in technology we willl be found wanting? even the biggest Igbo hater will admit that nobody can touch us in ingenuity, we are blessed with educated stalwarts in the diaspora who will be more than willing to come to the new found republic to invest their talents(I gladly will!), millions of curious foreigners will gladly apply for a Biafran visa and passport to come and see what these new republic is all about; thus creating an awareness that there are opportunities worth investing in Biafra...we will make new alliances and diversify our natural and human resources...and not depend on Oyel like brainless Nigerians who can't see past diversification...man I already need that deportation to start already!!! maybe it will make delusional Igbos who believe in the useless one Nigeria dream, bring home their businesses and enterprise to Igboland, fu.ckk Nigeria, hope that country burns soon.

The Biafra thing will be a disaster for the average Igbo guy, who will just turn to a local champion.

No more shuttling around Naija. Once you leave Owerri, Enugu, Aba, Onitsha etc, you are a marked man. You enter Jos, trouble. Find yourself in Benin, wahala. Kaduna, forget it. Abuja, who dash you? Lagos, the worst. Na bulala dem go take drive you.

Are you guys really ready for that kind of life?

Indians and Lebanese are here subjugating you in your lands, making money and sending home, or should I talk about the Chinese, you aren't better than them, are you?

Majority of Ndigbo stay in Igboland, propaganda can't change that, unless you show me a reputable source which indicates that.

And I guess Nigerians are not thriving in other countries? Did you know the owner of Gatwick Airport (London's 2nd busiest/largest airport) is a Nigerian?

Its great that the majority of Ndibo are in Iboland, that means less deportation orders to process.

Win-win for all smiley.

Guy, did you ever read that book by Harold Robbins, the fifth-best-selling fiction author of all time who is estimated to have sold 750 million copies of his works? It was called 'Dreams Die First.' It is good to see people like you who would rather buy into an illusion, instead of waking up to reality. undecided

My brother deport every single one u see outside Igboland.
If that will make them bring all their investments back home. All the Igbos that come home during Christmas don't cry of where to sleep, we have enough land for inhabitation and business districts.

Enyi, don't worry. There are still millions of Igbo living outside Ala Igbo. Nigerian govt will make tons of money from them, when it is time to issue them with CERPAC, work permits and other necessary documents. And I forsee a new non-resident taxation policy in the making. It will be levied on Biafrans that still have businesses in Nigeria, but are currently residing in Alaigbo..
